Hope it happens, especially at a catchweight. It's a good fight, much better than Floyd fighting LWs and SLWs. Plus it should forever STFU Mayweather and his fans about Pac or anyone fighting leftovers or draining fighters. He'll also put himself in a position where he will have to fight Martinez after or be accused of ducking him, so it either have to Pac or Martinez after if he doesn't want to lose any respect.

why should Floyd fight Cotto(e) at a catchweight?

He beated Oscar, much bigger frame and legit at 154 than Cotto(e), by winning 9 rounds. I don't understand the need for a catch here. Miguel is a small 154 pounder.

Cotto(e) has said himself he can make 147

Well besides it stopping the Mayweathers and their fans talking **** about Pac fighting at catchweights, like you said Cotto is small for JMW. He is probably carrying a couple lbs more than he should, and a weight of 150-152 could be the optimal weight for him to perform his best.

Yes...leftovers, damaged goods...Im not interested in the macthup..He should fight cotto at 54 AFTER he fights Pac, so Pac wont be a factor in Floyd's life anymore and no one will say he's fighting a leftover

thank you. I'm glad you see it the way I do. At least you can say he's on an aight win streak and looked to have bounced back a little, but this **** is low on my list

ya Floyd fights guys when they are at their best or closest to it.
He sure as hell is. Hermit is another notorious one and same with Dodong
I'd be annoyed at the matchup, but not pissed. He'd lose a brownie point I guess.

Not gonna happen... Why do a fight with Floyd, when Arum can get all the money and do a rematch with Pac?

    Make the fight!

This one was always brewing between the two. These two are among my favorite fighters so I was always looking forward to this scrap. Cotto is one of the few fighters that Mayweather truely respects and vice-versa. They have had similar career paths and somewhat similar family issues. Except Cotto had issues with his uncle and Floyd had issues with his dad. Both love their family and that is the main focus of their lives.

If they do make a deal, this will be a dream fight for me.

Pac fought Cotto coming of a brutal loss (possibly plaster related) to Margarito and then a razor thin SD over Clottey and on top of all thi,s Cotto had major corner issues, he honestly didn't even have an official trainer

Where as if Floyd fights him next, he would be coming in with 3 impressive stoppages at or near the 154lb limit (Foreman, Mayorga and Margarito). Add to this Floyd is vey small himself, so if they fght at 150 or above, the fight would be justified.

But like I said if they fight at welterweihgt than I probalyu couldn't make an escuse for Floyd, as again, Cotto has bene fighting above 150 for the psat 2 years.

    Got it?

this is true but it will still do great numbers. But Cotto gets his ass beat if the fight actually happens I would expect no catch weight and just a fight at 154. Floyd knows it wont matter he will beat the **** out of Cotto
