    Pac?

I personally think an FMJ vs Martinez fight is infinitely more interesting than Pac-FMJ.

I hope so. It'll close the book on this era of boxing after Floyd beats emmanuel and move us onto the next era.

U idiot, Cotto is not in his prime...U act like Floyd is doing something special by fighting him, when Pac even fought him washed up...Floyd would be outdoing Pac by fighting him coming off a win of an elite fighter, and hopefully fighting him at 154...U dont know anything about what goes on in boxing

I don't know about this. Why should Floyd chase a middleweight who doesn't have star power? Would you force Cotto to go after Froch or Ward even if they can fight at, say, 160? I believe if a fighter is not comfortable fighting at a certain weight then he shouldn't be pushed into it. If Pac and Floyd say their limit is at 147 then we should respect that decision. It's ducking only if they're avoiding top guys in their division. Cotto stated he can still make 147 comfortably therefore him fighting Pac or Floyd is fair game.

Don't get me wrong, I would have no problem with Floyd-Sergio if it happens. In fact I will gladly pay for it. But again, obligations should stay within Floyd's chosen weight class.

 This. Id still want to see this tho. It might turn out closer and better than what everyone thinks. Could turn out like Marquez vs Barrera where a Marquez still at the top of his game fought a tough fight with a fading Barrera. Floyd should win but Cotto might make it difficult for him. Could still be a greater ceczlears

He wouldn't get any credit fighting Guerrero, Morales, Maidana, Khan or Canelo.

How bad is it going to look that he fought all these guys coming up in weight and all Golden Boy fighters but couldn't ever manage to fight Pac, Cotto, Margarito, Paul Williams?

He'll atleast be shedding some of the ducker/GBP inhouse fighter tag. Cotto is the #1 JMW and the best and highest rated fighter he can fight outside Pac and Martinez. He's also the biggest draw outside of Pac. Fight makes sense

after pacquiao and martinez, cotto or canelo are the next best thing

marquez is leaning towards a 4th fight with pac
    martinez fights in march

    so basically there's no choice

Only you *******s want to see this fight. Floyd doesnt fight leftovers. Thats your hero's job. Maybe Mayweather will dominate Marquez against after Pacquiao gets another gift over him in May.

Btw, what has Cotto done to earn number 1 JMW? Has he beaten Kirkland, Angulo, Alvarez, Bundrage, Williams, Lara? Anyone actually not injured, shot or with one eye?

If Cotto is still with Arum I doubt it nobody believes it would be a close fight. Floyd is also dead set on Manny

If Pacquiao loses to JMM (in a 4th fight) then No-one wants to see Pacquiao vs Mayweather. But if Pacquiao fights and loses to Maywaether, then the JMM fight is still an option, along with fighting Bradley and others. But if Pacquiao Loses...then we as fans will get screwed. It's not rocket science people. Arum and you ***-ass *******s claimed that you wanted a fight with FMJ for two years right? But all I see / hear is Floyd should fight Martinez, Cotto...etc. As I said before, You guys are not fooling anyone.

the biggest issue i would have is that cotto is with TR, thus they would have to go through arum...if arum can get a $ v cotto fight, no reason he can't get a $ v pac fight
