Just curious how everyone scored this as I had Mayweather up 6-5-1, which surprised me as I know a lot of people had Castillo winning quite clearly. Good close fight.

It was a close fight, a lot of people had Castillo winning, but a lot of people had Floyd winning as well. It was probably around 50/50 at least at the press row...

Yeah, it' like Hatton-Collazo, it became more controversial after the event. I had PBF by two rounds.

for me, that's the right attitude. No way was it a robbery, even if you thought Castillo won.

It was close enough that neither proved that they were definitively better than the other. so, fair play to both of em they had the rematch, PBF won slightly more comfortably. That kinda confirmed it.

Looked as if Castillo had won by 2. Iffy verdict but nothing to loose any sleep over, I've seen worse.

castillo took it at least by two. To quote Lampley after the winner was announced...."not the fight we saw"

i mean ****, castillo threw more and landed more and was essentially the aggressor throughout.

I think Castillo won it. I can't see how Mayweather won but I respect that 50% of the people who watched it thought Floyd won.

Floyd had a torn rotator cuff and two broken ribs. It was his first campaigning fight at 135 and he faced someone who had a good ten pounds on him.

Given the point deductions I think Floyd lost. Floyd got deducted a point but I think the round Castillo got deducted a point, he won.

Castillo by at least one point, most likely two or even three if theres a touch of bias.

On paper, given the judges and 50% of the people I give Floyd his credit but I do think he lost it.

Castillo threw more, landed more and landed harder. The first two rounds were clearly for Floyd but nothing was clear after that.

It was a war, where Floyd stoof his ground impressively on occassion. Castillo landed some big blows and Floyd never wilted but ultimately Castillo should have got the W.

Props to Floyd for taking the immediate rematch and winning so clearly.

After seeing this fight, I knew Mayweather was not the winner. I wouldn't have been angry if they called it a draw, but I did feel that Castillo won. So I was disappointed that they gave it to Mayweather.
But Floyd came back and won the rematch clearly, so whatever.

I've always thought Castillo won by two points but the fight was so close it could have gone either way.

Castillo won the first one clearly. The second fight was very close, but Mayweather pot shotted his way to a weak victory.

That isn't going to do a lick of good, unfortunately. Mayweather nut-huggers are inevitably going to say " compubox numbers don't mean **** ", ofcourse they'll only be saying this to benefit their own arguement.. yet under any other circumstances ( such as the DLH/Mayweather fight ) I'm sure that they'll jump at the opportunity to point out such statistics, which I've actually seen them do a number of times.

Don't get me wrong, it was reasonably close, but not so close that Castillo shouldn't have taken it, IMO. And just because Floyd won the rematch convincingly, that doesn't erase the fact that Castillo should've won the first fight. He was landing more frenquently than Mayweather, his blows were landing just as cleanly as Mayweather's were, and he was more active from the mid-rounds and onward. People can say Floyd had broken ribs, the flu, cancer, typhus, whatever they want, but he still should've lost.
