You're worried about the integrity of ''what used to be the richest, and most prestigious prize in sports'', no doubt. Which is why you'd prefer the heavyweight who just benefited from one of the worst heavyweight robberies of the past decade to get a shot at it, over the guy who got jobbed in said robbery. Makes perfect sense.

You already have a Mormekc thread, the majority of the Classic Regs have gave their opinion there.

Facts? As hardcore fans of the sport we should be above such petty tripe. Facts are for haters in the general forum who don't even watch boxing. Yeah..Helenius has a win over Chisora. The rest of us saw Chisora slip the jab and pound Helenius into a turtle shell for 10 rounds. Why fight Helenius? Helenius turned him down previously, he's also now injured and was outclassed by Chisora in his last outing. I appalud Vitali for ignoring the facts and doing the right thing.

I'm looking forward to Chisora/Vitali. I won't pay for it..I don't think its PPV but I will tune in for sure.

Anyone who thinks Helenius even came close to beating Chisora should be beaten with a stick.

    Chisora won that fight 118-110

Exactly it seems to me the ts is missing the point.

Helenius was a consensus top ten heavyweight and chisora is fresh off a victory over him.

The man that should really be challenging the Klitschko's is Povetkin, but I doubt we'll see it anytime soon.

I'd prefer the number 1 man to fight the number 2 man, being as that will never happen, I would prefer him to fight someone in the top 5, rather than some one unranked.
I never mentioned the integrity of the title I was referring to the prestige it once held,do you think the fact that 90% of the globe do not even broadcast the Klits fights means anything?
Or do you live in a bubble Mr Sarcasm ?

I can't tell if you're joking. Yes, it was controversial. No, there weren't any point deductions. You don't need point deductions when you're a Sauerland fighter on home turf. As long as you stay on your feet for 12 rounds, you will get the decision.

Helenius barely did anything, he looked terrible. Apparently he suffered a hairline fracture to his hand. This would help explain some things, but I'm not convinced he would beat Chisora in a rematch. Nor am I convinced that he'd be competitive with either Klitschko. Either way, he's stated that he's not ready for them.

Chisora deserved the win, and he's on the short list of fighters willing to get in the ring with the Klitschkos.

The Klitschko's can't make Haye, Valuev, or Povetkin sign. These guys have backed out of fights before.

Most of the other top contenders have already been beaten. Adamek, Solis, Chagaev, Thompson, Arreola, Haye, etc...

Basically the division has been cleaned out.

The irony of me being accused of living in a bubble by this guy who hasn't seen the most relevant fight that caused Vitali to sign for Chisora, doesn't have a clue about who's willing to face who, and is making threads slating the fights and fighters that he admittedly isn't keeping up with. Hilarious. Not worth the time to argue with someone like that.
