<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< If Lemont tries to box, Rios KO's him late (i.e. Acosta), if Lemont tries to fight inside, Rios KO's him early (i.e. Antillon)
Rios. You either gotta be a huge puncher like Maidana or a crafty fighter like Marquez to beat Rios. Lamont is neither of those. Hed get kod if he fights Rios the way he did Khan.
I think Lamont could comfortable outbox Rios for a full 12 rounds, the 4 inch reach advantage and 1 inch advantage in height would greatly aid him.
:think You think so, Bama? If Lamont employed a hit and run style or push Rios back to where Rios isnt fighting forward that might throw Rios off. Also Lamonts body attack would pay huge dividends and I think would work better on Rios then trying to go to the head often cuz we know Rios isnt getting kod. You think the revenge factor might play a role since Rios blasted thru Anthony?
I'd say Peterson is pretty well rounded. And definitely good enough to beat Rios, possibly stop him late.
Lamont is a good boxer with decent speed and Ok power but he can also pressure very well. I think he could pull out a decision here.
Lamont peterson is not stopping Brandon Rios, Rios would stop Peterson within 6 rounds Peterson is tailor made for Brandon Rios he likes to fight in side and brandon hits way,way harder and has a way better chin.
Well the cool thing about Lamont is that he said he doesn't want to beat Rios for his brother, he wants his brother to beat him and take care of his own battle. My believe is that Lamont could use a stiff jab and right on top of it to the body and head, along with angles to comfortably outbox Rios in a clear 8 - 4 decision.
