I know toprank isnt going to let Cotto in with Floyd but if it somehow came to fruition would you then be saying "Pac fought Cotto coming off a split decision. floyds fighting him off the biggest win of his career" . . . .

Only a rookie fan of Margarito's (cotto victim) would assume a fighter like Cotto could not compete with Sergio based on Sergio's resume

Little kids get emotional about Sergio being taller and flashy. I on the other hand think Cotto can not only compete, but beat Sergio.

And cut it out with the silly excuses "war torn Margarito..." Handle it, he was exposed. No plaster, no glory.

Funny, Margarito's manager said based on the Margarito fight, that he is "CERTAIN Cotto beats Manny" if he fights the way he fought Tony.

actually, Cotto(e) isn't our first preference for who we want to see Floyd fight next.

He looked good in his last fight against MARGOE, who has been nothing ever since being forced to fight legit.

Fight someone elite first.

I like Floyd as a fighter and i was hoping for him to fight Khan next but thats gone out the window so if cant fight Pacquiao then the only big money option would be Canelo even though hes nowhere near ready.

Those are the best fights that can be made for him, Pac and Cotto are with toprank so thats not happening, Khan just lost to peterson, Canelo is way too green and Martinez would fight him in a heartbeat but Floyd would lose so he either wont fight or take on Canelo. Simples

Sergio sucks. Cotto is a better fighter, better resume, bigger name, isn't old as dirt. Serio is a hypejob with 1 good win that's it.

 

Good points.. I like Cotto but some people here gettin a lil too excited. He looked good over a disabled shot fighter but would still get crushed by the much faster, stronger, elusive Martinez.

 

Both boxers are awesome, cotto is too small for sergio but maybe at 154 he could do well, still favour sergio though.
