Has wlad done enough such that he's began a new universally accepted lineage?

In case you didn't know, Pookie was the lead crackhead in the movie "New Jack City."

I think you fit the role nicely.

    Wlad is what, 35 now?

With that glass jaw of his, I'd think the end is near. Won't be too long before he slows down enough for someone to get to his China chin...

Lets give it up for Nay_Sayer, everyone..he's been a great sport.

He's an easy victim, an easy target, easy to oppress..I guess he is a black American in spirit anyway. Zing!

I wonder how much longer it will be before we see him in a fight worth watching?
Any time a fighter gets inside of his reach, he shits his trunks.

Confronted with a passive Haye who was a major dissapointment, he settled for his usual watching paint dry routine.

The guy is a gentleman ,intelligent, and articulate in several languages, what he is not is even remotely exciting.

Did you think of that all by yourself? I'm quite impressed. Crackheads are making all kinds of progress these days.

In all fairness to Wlad, I think his current style is a function of having that China chin.

But you're right to ask how much longer it will be before we see him in a fight worth watching.

I suspect it'll be until the next time he gets KO'ed..

I'm a sucker for hype so i'll watch any fight anyways.

His fights are usually dominant and unexplosive but that's what's brought him success so far.

I hope someone comes along who can challenge him soon.

If the members of the board don't mind, I'd like to explore this tangent with Erdei. When was this supposed retirement I keep reading about? As far as I recall, he simply moved up in weight to challenge the then-WBC-champion, but summarily relinquished the belt citing plans to move back down. He did give up his version of the light heavyweight title, but I remember no announcement of this alleged retirement. Am I wrong? I admit I don't keep abreast with the Euro-scene as much.

He vacated his belt to move up and announced his retirement shortly after beating frag, but it was a sham retirement due to promotional issues. He returned about 9 month later under a new promoter.

Best I can figure is that he vacated the belt in November 2009 to campaign as a CW.

I take it back..you are white. You just keep following me around, trying the same impotent things while getting brutally punished from a variety of angles...This has been a sick mismatch. Had Howard Coswell witnessed our posts..he would be repulsed by what he saw.
