Dawson\Hopkins changed to a NC!

Yea, it would clear all doubts if he gave him a rematch. But still, it's not like he could have planned that event and was about to forgo months of training. It just doesn't add up to me.

 

I really wish Hopkins would just go away at thus point. My feelings on him went from underratted champion, to champion finally getting some respect, to getting more respect and becoming a little more disgruntled, to being an old disgruntled champion but still great, to becoming an old disgruntled fragile champion who can no longer back up what comes out of his mouth. Hopkins, Jones, Mosley, Toney, Holyfield none of these guys should be in the ring in 2012

 

Not sure why you argue these guys on it, because it's clear that Hopkins jumped onto Dawson's back and he shrugged him off. Those who want to make it something more (powerslam? really?) have an agenda, or they are mentally challenged.

..and you never get anywhere arguing with the mentally challenged.. so why bother?

 

Because despite that, he has been getting injured just as easily. Roy tapped him on the back of the head, he went down, Dawson barely tosses him down an he cant continue. His body cant take it any more and hes still a 46 year old man. It only takes one fight that the years will catch up with him.

 

Hopkins is one of the biggest bitches in the ring in the last 20 years.

He won't fight Dawson again. too young, too fast. Hopkins has become a disgrace.

B Hop blates faked it. Is B Hop's character to pull this **** as well. Not sure why ppl think it is impossible when he has done it before.

 

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Hopkins avoids Dawsom completely. A rematch would result in Bernard's first stoppage loss..and everyone, Hopkins worshippers included, know this.

 

Took them a while to come to the conclusion most boxfans came to within a couple of minutes after the verdict was called in the ring...

Apparently the 1 and half rounds of semi-pressure was enough to make Hopkins quit, well it's what people on here seem to believe. Hopkins lost the first two rounds in both Pascal fights and came back strong in both but when it's 'Bad' Chad Dawson wins 1 round apparently it's enough to make Hopkins quit atschatsch

Look at the gif, he tries to do the same thing to Pascal....but it's ok since it's Hopkins we'll ignore facts and just assume it was a 'shrug' when in reality it was a body slam.

 

Also are people forgetting that Dawson instantly ruled out a rematch with Hopkins not once but twice, once in the post fight interview and once in the post fight presser and Gary Shaw went as far as to say they would rather give up the belts then fight Hopkins again atsch

Even Richard Schaefer said no to a rematch infact it was only Hopkins who came out and said he wanted the rematch;
