Who will you be rooting for: Andre Ward or Carl Froch?

Froch. He talks the talk, but he also does his best to walk the walk.

A guy with genuine balls, who is also improving his game, is one that you kinda have to respect. Ward on the other hand is a dirty *****.

I expect Ward to win pretty easily, but I would be happier if Froch won.

 

rooting for Froch. He's a bad ass. Like most people i think he's an underdog though. Lately its like spot two points to the underdog month. Alcine didn't deserveit but he beat Lemieux, Peterson didn't deserve it but he beat Khan, and Murry didn't deserve it but he got a draw. And **** Chisora might have lost but he is the one getting the title shot!......so basically what I'm saying is that its a good month to be the underdog. So **** if the judges want to spot the Frochy a few points its all good by me.

if he was 100% white instead of 50%, i'm sure he'd have 100% backing from the American posters. it's unfortunate.

Ward is not a notorious fouler, unless you count the endless spoiling on the inside (for witch you wont get pennalized, so it is fair enough to call it skill). Frankly, as a boxer Ward has a strike of genius in him.

Never the less Ward did introduce FULL BODY WEIGHT HEADBUTTS to the sport of boxing, and he did this against Mikkel Kessler. This is a FACT and it was so ****ing UGLY it is beyond words. And it has never been executed in the boxing ring EVER BEFORE.

What Ortiz did can not be compared with Wards talent and refined skill for headbutting. Ortiz was completly unable to get the strength of his whole body behind the momentum.

I am sorry, mate. If you want to be a fan of Ward go ahead. But some things cant be denied.

I'm rooting for Ward to win... I've been following his career since he turned pro... there was just something special about him as a fighter that I liked and I continue to support him. I think Froch is a great fighter too but Andre will win and go on to fight Bute to determine who is the best SMW in the world.

 

Rooting for Froch. His behavior is good for boxing and out of the 2, he's the more likely to face Bute next year.

He won't face Bute next year unless he loses this fight.
And out of the two, Froch is much more categorical about not facing Bute than Ward.

 

I disagree. While Froch enjoys giving ****, he usually backs it up. He's a warrior and has fought some of the best. He enjoys putting on a show even on interviews.

Ward instead started putting Bute down for basically fighting the same competition that he fought. Only difference is Kessler who Bute wanted to fight but we all saw how that mess turned out. Ward isnt stupid and he'll wanna hold on to those belts for as long as he can.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see what will happen.

Rooting for Ward. But it says more about what i think of Froch than it says of what i think of Ward.

 

I favor Ward and I prefer his style a bit, but Froch has earned his way and whoever wins deserves it.
