Khan would have been DQ'd by the 5th...why would you want that?

If he'd been warned that points would be deducted maybe he would have stopped. And i'd still rather the ref was consistent.

people need to fuk off with this comparison. Hopkins is not nearly as blatant with his fouls as Khan was against Peterson. Khan was fouling like an amateurish ****** because he couldn't fight at Peterson's pace. fuk off

Is that all you can say? I find it laughably pathetic that I have twice posted my opinion on why i thought amir lost and the only answer the 2 khuntards could muster was some **** about Carl froch.:nut:rofl

Amir lost a close entertaining fight and proved that he has no inside game at all. Relies on illegal pushing to prevent himself being over whelmed and runs off when nailed with a decent shot. As for the 10th round - I gave it to lamont because he controlled and forced Khan to run for most the round therefore showing that amir was unable to capitalise on his early success in the round.

But wait, according to himself, he has the best chin in boxing, is going to beat floyd and be an all time great:patsch

One thing for sure, he and his team are one of the best at playing the media and getting those who are easily satisfied in life to believe the hype.

He may well win his re-match if he gets it, however, it wont be easy and from then on if he does decide to campaign at welter he will be too fragile and without the necessary defensive skills and power to ward off the big hitters.

Look at it from a positive note, if Khan had won the fight he would have continued to ignore his weakness and continue to push and hold them down when they come inside, there were times where Khan would just cover up and take shots then push Peterson away cos he had no other answer (1:10 left in round 4 perfect example). Now at least he will go over the fight with Roach or who ever and do something about it.

Exactly this. I just can't see how the 10th can possibly be scored to Peterson.

I didn't understand this at all. They had Khan leading by 1 going into the last but when Jim Watt kept saying the point deduction cost him the fight before the end of the round I couldn't understand it as Khan clearly won round 12 making it a 9-9 round. So Watt scored the last round to Peterson which I don't see at all. Khan clearly out-landed Peterson in this round.

im pretty pissed off a championship fight ended this way.

Just give it a draw - no controversy then.

Khan also outlanded peterson for the whole fight. not by much - about 19 punches I think - but still....

    must count for something right?
