Let's not kid ourselves about why MMA is where it is in such a short space of time. It's brutality, gore and the excitement generated by the risks involved got it to Fox. Soccer kicks, along with other things, were outlawed in order to get sanctioned in many US sates and other territories, not because the fans didn't want to see them. Broken limbs can be witnessed in ALL sports and it's not like it happens all the time, like a breakage on every card. If people are that disgusted by **** like this then they would just play touch football and rugby and outlaw tackling in soccer.

This, also is not like breaks are common. That was in way and very very painful before it broke. Nog didn't tap, not because he thought he could escape, but because he was too proud to.

It was not just ripped off, and the vast majority of the time a Kimura deep like that would dislocate a shoulder as opposed to breaking anything

    Hmmm...

So modifying the rules to stop limbs getting broken by subs is ridiculous...

But outlawing striking with the elbows is a great idea.

What a load of self-contradictory arsehair. :patsch

Stop getting buttmad because you came up with a ridiculous ****ing idea. I feel elbows ruin fights and I don't like them because they cause fight ending cuts almost all of the time, that's not in the same ballpark as outlawing limb breaking submissions. You're clutching at straws.

how many bone breaks from subs do you see?

how many gashes from elbows do you see?

(i don't think elbows should be banned, but yet again you make awful comparisons)
