Hopkins (175) has one more fight with HBO , Bute (168 ) one more with Showtime. A fight with Bernard makes no sense, at this time. Bute should fight winner/loser of the S6 , or Dirrel if he's fitt.
You are a minority here. Except you and a bunch of others most of us would consider a call of Andre Dirrell as Bute ducking the S6 finalists. A jump to LHW to face a dirtier Glen Johnson would be absolutely laughable for any Bute fan. Those should come only as a last resort not as an immediate option. For Christ sake, even in their press conference, with a couple of days left 'till their fight, both Ward and Froch talked about Bute as they were being asked by the media. So most of us can think of nothing else after the S6 than Ward/Froch vs. Bute and you come here with the immoral proposal: Anthony Crying Out Loud Dirrell. Ha, like Bute's main goal in life is to please JoeAverage.
He was just tested by Super6 semi finalist Glen Johnson, who gave Froch a very tough fight. Bute is the biggest fight out there for whoever wins, or they have to rematch eachother to death. Hopkins is in another weightclass, and Dirrell would stink out the place. That, and I don't want to see Dirrell in the ring with anyone anymore :bart

I didn't start off life as a Froch super fan but his recent performances suggest Bute will not toy with him. Froch would be the the strongest opponent he has faced and could do no worse than the b level zombie Andrade or 60 year old Johnson, both of whom gave Bute a fight.

Outside Montreal Bute draws the same level of intrest as Tavoris Cloud with whom he shares a best win. You notice all the threads on this forum clammoring on about Cloud's next opponent? Me neither.

So Ward's gonna duck Bute as well. So there's nothing really left for him now except for, very hopefully Andre Dirrell or move up to LHW.
you now they are not doable for now...contract in opposing clans (HBO and Showtime), and dirrell needs tune up fights. but dont worry all in due time.
