A rematch won happen because no one would want to see it. Everybody expected the fight to be dire before the fight and it more than exceeded expectation. Don't need to do it a second time. As far as I am concern, Dawson won the fight because B Hop bitched out of it.
Only in the outcome, which was a weird flukey thing and there are probably one in a million odds of it playing out the exact same way in a rematch. The actual 4-5 minutes of action pretty much went exactly how everyone thought they might...and again, it was only 4-5 minutes. I'd say there would be interest in a rematch, and that a 2nd PPV might actually do better numbers than the first one due to all the weirdness and people wanting to see things settled in a normal way.
Not one in a million. B Hop did it before in the Allen fight. Fact is all B Hop fights are an ugly spectacle and with Dawson is no wonder everybody thought it was gonna be dire. I don't think he would get to be on PPV again. Imagine if you paid $60 to watch that ****. Would you shell out another $60 again?
All these strange medical decisions happen in California and Dr. Paul Wallace is always involved. The same doctor charged with medical insurance fraud and overcharging medical fees to boxers. The same Dr. that insisted Cintron had a punctured lung and be put in in a neck brace after he fell/jumped threw the ropes. The CSAT/Paul Wallace and WBC/Sulaiman also ripped off of Bradly against Campbell, rip off of Vitally against Louis, rip off of Toney against Rahman, lied against Margarito and ripped off a bunch of other fighter that I cant think of right now. And they ripped us off too
Mans up and rematches Dawson? If I remember, Dawson was the first guy to say that he did not want to give a rematch to B-Hop and that he won "fair and square". If B-Hop doesn't want to give Dawson a rematch, I say GOOD. Give "Bad" Chad a dose of his own medicine.
Hopkins has been a disgrace for years. Him ducking Chad and then faking this is just another example. He is a joke.
No he couldn't have planned that event, but I don't think anyone is arguing that.. The argument is Hopkins didn't want to face Dawson for a while, and when they fought he found the first way out of the fight with his titles.. Seemed far more upset when he heard the titles were taken away then he was with the fight ending. As for the training, I think keeping his titles for sure was worth it.. Why is why I believe he was far more upset when he heard he wouldn't keep the titles and went to get the decision changed.
Lol, Hopkins faking an injury and being the classless ***** he has always been has nothing to do with a fight that happend 10 years ago. The whole thing is just unfair to Dawson, who deserved his shot and to ge the belt fairly.
