He already was the #1. (since before Hatton fought Pacquiao and opened up a power vacuum at 140 on most people's lists, although precious few people recognized it back then).

Khan doing worse against Peterson just solidified what some of us already knew. Bradley is the better boxer. Better head-to-head, slightly better resume (although Khan's got that nice win over Kotelnik that makes it close) - just better all-around. :good

I dropped bradley to 2 because of his shameless duck, now that khan has lost though I guess its fair to put him back at 1 cnsidering how he dominated peterson.

That still makes it a duck.

Consulted or no, his idea or not - once it was made, pulling out constitutes ducking.

You fake an injury in order to not compete with one of the best in the division you're supposedly aiming to climb to the top of - that isn't good.

Bradley didn't duck Khan, he flat out said "No" as in "Not yet. I'm making you wait and this will be on my terms when it happens, *****. :D"

    That's mind games, not ducking.

Faking an injury to sneak out of a scheduled match - that's shameless ducking.

No. Why did bradley beat khan??
Going into the fight it was
    Number1: Khan
    number2:Bradley
Khan lost to peterson so it SHOULD (wont be but should) be
    Number1: Peterson
    Number2: Khan
    Number3: Bradley

ya that's what I did, but I waited to see how Khan dealt with Judah first.

Now Bradley is number 1 and only biased haters would say Bradley isn't number 1.

Bradley and Khan were very close, both undefeated at the weight, but then Khan just lose to a guy who's only lose is to Bradley. Yeah styles makes fights, but resume wise, Bradley's is better now.

Bradley has always been the top guy in the division the last several years. Khan had made it close and very debatable and if he were to beat Peterson he would have been the top guy but with him losing Bradley's claim just got stronger and the debate removed.

It would be fair to say it does.

I think the Peterson that fought Khan was better than the one that fought Bradley. However, Bradley easily dominated his fight for 12 rounds. That counts for a lot, even if he was fighting a slightly inferior version.

It appears to some serious Haters in here.

Just look at Bradley's fight versus Peterson. Bradley looked sensational. He was the smaller fighter, yet understood distance and space and totally outboxed Lamont. When he got on the inside, he totally outworked Lamont which is supposed to be Peterson's Bread n' butter.

And in the video below, in the late rounds not only did Bradley still have excellent conditioning and stamina but Bradley was fighting as a southpaw.

This is Bradley as a ww fighting a full-blown undefeated welter with KO Power and Bradley still looks just as fast and in terrific condition.

I truly understand that styles makes fights. And we should never assume that Bradley beats Khan simply because Khan lost to L-Pete. But not calling Bradley the best 140lbs fighter is just completely ridiculous. He is a better overall fighter, both offensively and defensively, better stamina and proved that he can do it a higher weight....AND BETTER TESTED! C'mon everybody...leaving the HATING to the Pac vs Floyd Threads. Let's bring some objectivity to the threads about other fighters...PLEASE!

People said Alexander would whoop Bradley. I laughed. People said Khan would whoop Bradley. I laughed. And Bradley dominated a guy who just beat Khan and gave Ortiz all he could handle.

People still don't give Bradley enough credit. I've always felt he was the best at 140 and will continue to do so until someone beats him.
