Vit V Tyson was meant to happen????

    Just reading the thread from a few days ago about Danny Williams where it said his unexpected beating of Tyson scuppered a planned Vit V Tyson fight but saved Tyson from a horrendous beating.

    Is this true? First i ve heard that Vit V Tyson was meant to happen.

    yeah, its true.

    Tyson would have been Vitali's first defense. And would have helped his resume much more in the eyes of laymen.

    Its a good thing Williams came along, Tyson has speech problems now and it would be sad to see him end up like Ali has. his lifes been tough enough as it is without a guy like Vitali punching him into retirement

    Yes in the pre-fight build up on HBO, Vitali said "All my life I have a dream to fight Mike Tyson. Danny Williams destroyed that dream." Then he said something like, "I will destroy Danny Williams."

    Peak Tyson breaks all of Vital's ribs,has him falling all over the ring,has him gasping for air and has his paper skin soaked with blood before Mike stops him in 8 rounds or so.
