Oh ****, I did check out boxrec and my goodness. One fighter with 90 something loses and he beats him via points and that was just the rematch. I know many fighters pad their records, but this kid's opponents records is one of the worst I have seen. Check it out for yourselves. Oh, it is Luis Garlarza with 17-13 record. I'm just saying, if he were serious or his people, wouldn't they be fighting a top five guy. I'm not sure if it is Geale or Cleverly who won a WBO title for fighting a replacement fighter??? I really miss boxing how it use to be. Let's not forget Shemenov who is probably related to Leon for getting a title shot with less then twelve fights.
Luis Galarza http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=75773&cat=boxer All this talking is just us Brits having a laugh As you have never seen him here he is in 2008, defending his British title for the 1st time in former champion McIntyre's hometown. You didnt check it very well then, Galarza is 17-2 & hasnt lost since 06 World title fight in March against Senchenko for Kell.
Stupid ass boxrec. I just quoted what they posted. 2011-12-17 Luis Galarza 17(13)-2(1)-0 Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States 10 bout subject to change & commission approval
I cannot wait until Brook fights somebody who punches back , then we will see if he has the minerals.
What are his chances against Senchenko? I hope we don't see another protected fighter if he wins. I mean, at least Khan fights everyone. I was being harsh on him, but I think all the hype and media got to his head and a lost right now will keep him on the mark and focused for Peterson and future opponents.
To be fair to him, he was stuck with a **** promoter over here and wasn't getting good or regular fights. He's just signed with Froch's promoter (the same guy who got Barker a shot against Martinez) and they're getting him on the S6 card to build his name and are eyeing a title shot next.* He'll get his chance to sink or swim soon!
