Khan vs Peterson now the dust has settled. How did you really score the fight? I cant see how Khan didnt get the decision and felt the points deductions were very harsh as Peterson leaned on Khan alot of times.

Not a fan of either fighter, but credit where its due, they put on a great show.
Parts of the fight reminded me of the SR Leonard/Hagler fight.

    Round 1. Khan 10/8
    Round 2. Khan 10/9
Round 3. Khan 10/9 better round for Peterson, but not enough to win
    Round 4. Peterson 10/9
    Round 5. Khan 10/9
    Round 6. Khan 10/9
Round 7. Even but for sake of arguement will score to Peterson 10/9, Khan also had a point deduction to come off at end
    Round 8. Peterson 10/9
    Round 9. Khan 10/9
Round 10. Even but once again will score for Peterson 10/9
    Round 11. Khan 10/9
Round 12. Khan 10/9 but Khan had another point deducted to come off at the end

    Total 114 - 111 (Khan)

Felt it was a clear win for Khan in a tough fight where both fighters had to give and take.
Why did the scorecards take so long to be added up?

How did you score the fight and who did you give the rounds to?

Me? I scored it a draw. 6 rds apiece. Could see a case for the win for either guy.

I took more notice of Peterson's cleaner punching, aggression and brutal body attack over Khan's flurries and activity. I felt alot of his flurries were shining and were caught on Peterson's guard.

You could tell those body shots were really shaking Khan up. He went into full retreat pretty much from the moment Peterson began employing them.

Scorecards took a while, but probably because 1 judge scored the 7th 10-8 in favor of Khan, which was impossible due to the -1.

    113-112 peterson.

Felt the double deduction was slightly harsh but felt the kd call was slightly harsh also.

I had it to Khan by 113-112.

Honestly, most had it for Khan, but at the same time, I'm happy for Peterson.

Scoring the third and 11th for Khan is horrible. Clearcut Peterson rounds.

I scored it 6-6 with Peterson winning 113-112.

    3,4,7,8,10,11 for Peterson.

The 10th was really the only round I thought wasn't a clear cut round for either fighter. So I have no problem with anyone having Khan winning the fight by one point either. Objectively this was a fairly easy fight to score.

    113-112 - Khan
Would have been fine with a draw (thinking there would be a vegas rematch)

Not too happy about the win, but what to expect in his hometown eh with honestly a shoddy ref...

Happy with Peterson taking the win as long as there is a rematch (I'm from the UK but Vegas is nuetral grounds so i'd prefer it to be there)

    - I scored same as judges but gave 10th to Khan.

The first one looked a KD which wasnt called. Could have been 10/7 round one. That would have been harsh

Peterson did very little for the first minute and a half of round 3, then had a good half minute with Khan shading the rest. Watch it without the commentary. Felt Khan won the 11th. Guess thats why they have 3 judges

The first one was a trip over the ref. The 2nd was a trip over Khan.

    113-112 Lamont Peterson.

Khan put on a disgraceful running performance and constantly fouled.

First 8 rounds are easy to score. 4 clear rounds each.

The last 4 are pretty difficult and it's just what you like. I gave Khan 2 (9, 10) of the last 4 with the last even.

Kahn did nothing either. And Lamont dominated the last half of the round.

The 11th was Lamonts 2nd best round. I was surprised Khan came out like he did and won the 12th because he lost the 11th so convinincingly.
