Your logic is flawed because unlike a great chin and one punch ko power an inside game can be developed and taught.

Now, if he could only add power and chin to his game.

floyd isnt a banger like the way peterson fought. ive always thought if khan ever faced mayweather...khan would give him fits based on mayweathers style. i still feel this way even after khans lost to peterson. although khan's inside game is lacking, he works behind his jab really well. it would be no walk in the park for mayweather like most people think.

It's an understanding people are lacking when it comes to Khan's style and ability.

Khan has canned combinations that he shoots off mid to long range, holds on the inside or covers up when someone closes distance, rinse and repeat. A fighter like that with little to no adaptability will NEVER beat elite fighters, it just won't happen.

Seeing him get beat up by a guy who was just "playing" the role of a pressure fighter/puncher is proof positive that Amir is not elite and won't get there, maybe ever.

when may fought judah, he had trouble with judah's handspeed and distance game. oscar also troubled him with the jab. even tho i think mayweather will win...he would have his hands full with khan.

judah was more explosive than khan, and didnt over-extend. khans jab isn't THAT good. mayweather would eat and **** him

was an over the hill oscar de la hoya more explosive than khan? im not a khan fan but i wont ignore his handspeed and distance game. mayweather isnt getting any younger either. i just dont think mayweather will annihilate him like most people do on here.

who said anything about explosiveness in regard to DLH?

seriously, a guy who, as we have all said for years, comes in and out in straight lines with a rock-em sock-em style and is totally predictable, is going to give mayweather fits just because he's got handspeed? you think mayweathers gonna sit there while khan lets go his 8 punch combos, floyd will counter him after the second punch.

khan does not have the reflexes or cute defence to avoid floyds straight rights either.

Khan will always need to fight to become a better fighter and that is witrh a capital F. You just can't box from range, box tall, jab, mix jabs with lead hooks and body shots, throw one-twos and stay away, you need to dig deep, take it and fight back. Actually Khan was able to do it in part against Maidana in the end stretch. However, Floyd is a different subject... Khan would fight tall and play chess games with the smartest out there and would lose clearly. Khan may improve but it's difficult with this matter to produce something at that level where he wants to be.

i was just saying oscar was effective fighting against mayweather with the jab alone, something i think khan is terrific at. you're right...mayweather has good reflexes but he is getting up there with age. i think it would be a good fight but he wouldnt run thru khan IMO.

Khan isn't as imposing with the jab as Oscar was, he is not as imposing all-round actually...he could never back Mayweather up like DLH did, he could never keep the centre of the ring against him.

If that bout ever happens, I'd take a guess that Floyd would be walking Khan down and picking him off. Khan can't fight going backwards, any possible opponents who come up against him in the future will already be taking note of this. He doesn't even use his range as good as he should be, or people think he does. He can't keep boxers who are willing to take a shot/make him miss off him.

I haven't even got in to footwork, overreaching, Floyd would have a field day with these flaws alone. Surprisingly easy win for Floyd.

Don't do this dude, you're only fuelling people's hatred of Khan even more with threads like this.
