Bute has been fighting lower tiered fighters. The best have been involved in the Super Six. Even Bute's supporters acknowledge that.
Allan Green and 2 american prospects (Ward and Dirrel ranked 7th and 8th at that time) ain't the best. This is how the best fighters were ranked in 2009: 1. Mikkel Kessler 2. Lucian Bute 3. Carl Froch 4. Sakio Bika 5. Jermain Taylor 6. Librado Andrade This^^ is the real Super Six.
4 of those six fought in the Super Six. Abraham was still fighting at 160 then and instantly was ranked when he moved up. We all knew Ward and Dirrell were light years above Andrade skill-wise. So, you proved the point that Bute has not been facing the best.
I like Bute but where are his fans getting this idea that everybody is **** scared and ducking him? the guy is not THAT much of a monster, so Kessler Froch and Ward will all fight eachother but "omfg no bute he too good!!" please.
I think the difference we need to make here is this: 1- The winner of the super six should be ranked #1 of the division. 2- But since theres some unfinished business at 168 (maybe a rematch Froch/Ward, rematch Froch/Kessler and bother Froch and Ward vs Bute). And so the Champion of the division should not be decided this week end. That being said, the opinion that the S6 was suppose to do just that is a very good one and I understand completly this way of thinking and I know that officially the Ring will crown the winner as the best. But if we remain unbias, we understand that Bute is a big question mark and the #1 should fight him to be sure of his status as Champion of the division. Again, we can see some double standard. For example, half (maybe more) the forum are saying that Pac lost the fight vs Marquez. But officially Pacquaio won the fight. In other words, it's not right to use the "official" decision only when it suits you. As such, I dont mind at all (even if I dont agree) that the winner of the S6 will be call the Champion. But I do mind (and I dont agree) that the winner of the tourney and aclaim Champion of the division try to find a way to discard Bute. Indeed, Bute wasnt invited in the S6 and he is (even if you are the most doubters of Bute) at least no. 4 in the division and the S6 fighter didnt have the opportunity to face him. Sorry for the long post...
You repeat yourself a lot in these days. But I guess we all do in regards of Bute. I agree that the S6 winner should be acclaim the best "yet" in the division. The tourney was made for that. But it was flawed and at the time of the making, Bute wasnt invited and at the time of the making, Bute was no. 2 of the division, followed closely by Froch with his Taylor win at the time. (you might say no. 3 and Froch no. 2 I dont mind, my point stands). So in the begining everyone knew that some questions would not be answer by the S6 alone. It's probably true that Bute needs more the winner than the opposite. But think a little here. If USA and UK journalist bother both Ward and Froch for almost one year now, in asking question about Bute all the time. The fighters themselves if its not the experts and the press might question the Champion ranking that the S6 winner will be grant this week end. In any case, Bute is not a nobody. Saying this is the paramount of bias and trolling or ignorance. After some weeks off, I'm trying to talk in a serious way with you, we will see if this time you will try to do the same.
Sarcasm is always hard to translate in writing since you cant hear the tone of the voice. But what you said was so over the top that I still understood.
unbelievable. your are the poster who maneges to say the same thing over and over in so many different variances. you are really gifted. but clueless at the same time...remarkable.
Decebal was saying that Bute should do everything possible to secure a fight against the S6 winner. Even if it was in making not too much money, going in the hometown of the S6 winner, etc etc etc. You said it was a very well balanced post... As I said earlier, find just one fan of a fighter that make a thread like that. Your point was not valid. But I agree that Decebal reacted badly to (what I think) a mistake on your part. I think you wanted to say that Decebal made a Bute's post that was well made with no trolling, name calling and such. But the way you wrote it, we understood that you thought it was normal for a fighter to get f... dry in his backdoor.
i wont say fear, but i feel good in saying they have doubts. if not and they truly believe he is unworthy, then just take the fight, get some good cash and a belt wile your at it. pls give me a logicle answer as to why he is not worthy. no trolling pls, i have read enough of it, just common sense.
There's a misconception amongst SOME Bute fans that I'm some sort of hater MJK,and it's not true.I've always rated the guy and I only object to the more outrageous claims made by some fans.I was treated very poorly on the aforementioned thread, but I stuck around on it because I think it's cowardly to disappear off a thread because you're getting some stick. What I did object to was the people jumping on the bandwagon just because Big Daddy Dece Bal was doing his keyboard warrior.I understand that on first impressions some Bute fans get the wrong idea, and it's indisputable that a lot of humour and even normal posts get very badly lost in translation, but can you imagine the way I'd get slaughtered by some if I even joked that Bute was gay? I think you know how that would go mate.:think I hope you're seeing what some already have and I enjoy measured discussion and debate. But I won't stand for one rule for me,and another for(certain) Bute fans. That's not addressed to you or any of the guys who know the things I've mentioned here.I got some kind words after DeceBal's thread, and I was very grateful to those people. All I ask for is fairness. I would disagree that my point was not valid too.
