I think it would be harsh to keep him out .He's an ex world champ and has done his punishment .

Boxing is different to Football, most clubs would not touch either player, Marlon King should be boiled alive the vile ****. Always going to have one or two scummy clubs picking up a bargain.

So many examples could disprove that. In a sport were many of the greatest come from the bottom and many have criminal backgrounds, it would be a joke not to let him back in after serving his time. Imagine Liston, Hopkins or Tyson not being given their license.

Hope Scott is given his chance, and hope he still has the skills to compete. Ricky Burns match up would be class.

Guy can't keep paying for his crimes...he has done what society asked...consider this, boxing may be what he needs at this point to keep him on the right track....a tragic story, not a nice wee fella by most accounts but we all have our demons....

Other than you saying whatever you think gets you attention, why shouldnt Scott get his licence back?
What has he ever done in boxing that would consider him a risk? Thats what the board need to evaluate, that and nothing else.
He's not asking to join the police, he's asking for a licence to fight, and unless considered unfit to do that, should be licenced.

Scott served the sport with distinction at his best, and deserves a second chance.

Scots boxing ability is great as for outside the ring everyone makes mistakes he has done his time. I will be interested to see how far he goes and if he can get back to World level also who is going to promote him during his return to the ring.
