1. Agreed. I wont talk back against it, but why did you think he did it. Might have had something to do with Peterson leading with his head. 2. You ****ed up there. Cause Peterson did the same plenty of times, but in your eyes that is just "Peterson showing he is physically stronger. The wonder of weighing 155 pound". 3. If Khan was not deducted points for those offences, neither was Peterson You are a dick.:happy
No, if he behaves like a dick which he can do. I would agree with the stick he gets, but sometimes he gets treated unfairly. He is a real fighter, and I respect that.
No it was because Khan has no inside game so was clinging on for a breather anyway he could, even if it meant grappling his opponent into a headlock. I was talking more about the leaning on top of Peterson in another desperate attempt to catch a breather from the pressure. WTF are you talking about? I was mentioning those points to counter the argument that Kahn shouldn't have been deducted points for pushing. What's that boss? wnedwned with nothing less then an icey cold serving of facts.
This is just GBP trying to force the sanctioning bodies to order a rematch. Its a part of the negotiations, exactly the same as the rumours about Bradley-Peterson. Khan vs Peterson II makes the most money & is inevitable.
Let me reason with you. I actually like Khan, he's a decent fighter. I would never discredit his achievements and I have never done so. However, it was a close fight, Peterson was working on the inside, yes he was working hard, but it's a fight. inside fighting is part of the game. At no point did I see Peterson doing a Bradley or an Andre Ward. He was fighting Hard, he was in Khan's face no doubt, but he was not leading with the head trying to butt him. He was letting his hands go when he was inside and landing scoring punches. Khan's answer to Peterson was to hedlock him, elbow him and push him. Khan needed to deal with the pressure somehow, but he did not. Khan should have tried to beat Peterson on the inside, or use footwork and movement to get away from him so he could get his outside game going. He failed at that too. He did foul a lot and I saw the amount of times he was warned. He fought like a guy who had no idea how to get a guy off him. If he is deficient on the inside, then he should have been working on that at the wildcard. We all saw how he coped against Maidana's pressure, and he's not worked on nullifying an aggressive come forward fighter. Peterson after the knockdown, changed up his game plan and adjusted. He got aggressive and got to Khan. Khan should have and could have won the fight clean and wide, but he was on the backfoot a lot, everytime Peterson came forward, Khan back peddled, got trapped and got hit. Everyone saw that, when pressure was applied, Amir did not have an answer. He needs to go look at the tape and understand why it is, that people are saying he lost. I think he just about won the fight to be honest, but he made it possible for judges to score rounds for Peterson. He also gave the ref no option but to dock points. We could all see that the ref was pulling him up for pushing etc, so it was clear from the first warning that he wasn't going to stand for it. Khan then should have cut it out, but did he?? did he bollocks!!! he kept on doing it!!! Even after the first deduction. If he had any sense, he would have used his skills, his ring craft and his ability to get away and get his game going. Do you see why people are getting pissed off at the way Khan is throwing all his **** out of the pram, when he only has himself to blame? It's poor form from him, and everyone, including yourself knows it.
So you guys acting like pushing is like head butting someone, or chewing someone's ear. It's been a tough fight, and you take a second point off in the final round? That's just crazy This is boxing fouls happen in every fight, it's funny Bradley a real cheat headbutted his way to the top, and ref's never took a point off him.
