Totally agree mate, I'm finished with lad i've tried to not allow his silly comments to grate but tbh he's 25 now. He's acting like a petulant child and problem is he's being encouraged. He's heading for further losses IMO.

Yep, his ego is the problem. He thinks that everyone should stack the deck in his favour and when it doesn't happen and he gets beaten legitimately he thinks a ****ing appeal is in order! I'm irritated by this. He's lucky he's getting an immediate rematch, he should be thankful that he's getting that at least and move on.

Funny how Peterson kept coming in with his head first into Khan's chest, and the ref kept warning Peterson to keep his head up for most of the fight.

Yet he warns Khan then takes points off him 2 times.

One rule for Khan and another for the hometown fighter.

    That is so fair..

Does it matter whether a fighter loses points for fouls or BS knock downs? The referee didn't exactly cover himself with glory but you seem to be suggesting that he was the sole reason Khan lost and therefore we should call it a draw and give him his titles back.

He has no grounds for an appeal at all and although I know you have a great fondness for Amir, I can't believe I've found myself having a debate with someone who thinks his stance on this is reasonable. He lost because he deserved to, he should be gracious in defeat and so should you.

I seen no intentional butts from Lamont. And are there rules against putting your head against your opponents chest? Amir was faced with an age-old, legitimate style of fighting and was found wanting. Simple. And now he and his associates are behaving like petulant bullies.

He needs a new team, cab drivers with no prior interest in the sport aren't good enough.

I find this all a bit depressing. I don't think it makes Boxing look good in this country. Especially after the Haye fight debacle.

He got dragged into the wrong fight, he was warned continuously in the 11th and couldn't deal with Lamont's style at all when he went on the inside.

If he thinks it was harsh or even that he won fine but this reaction is completely pathetic.

Amazing how Khan has taken this defeat. And it WAS a defeat. I had it even going into the last round. There have been robberies in the past but this was no rebbery, khan simply blew it and now he's acting like a little *****. I was a fan of sorts but now I hope Peterson beats him in the rematch. Sadly we all know GBP will make sure that doesnt happen.

just seen him on BBC breakfast moaning on about being headbutted, calling it a robbery etc.

****'s sake. As a Khan fan this is all very disappointing to see him acting like such a bellend.

Yeah, me too. The thing that always happens in those situations is that the words of who ever they have on gets taken as 'The Truth'. The main presenters don't have a clue and so can't really question what is being said, and their sports guy, even if he did know, is too sycophantic toward the guest to actually ask the questions they should be asking. Result - general public believes he was robbed. Politicians who appear on telly are questioned about their actions more critically so why can't sports stars be too.
How hard would it have been for their sports guy to simply pose: - 'having seen the fight you were clearly pushing throughout, something the rules clearly state isn't allowed. How do you respond to that view?'
