How on earth did that one judge have Khan ahead by 5 points after being docked 2?

Would've like to have seen some of those shots except for the good uppercuts on the inside and a few right hooks round the guard that he was landing in the rounds I scored for him.

Good pressure to the body but in terms of frequency and damage they were definitely in bunches, again in the round that I scored for Peterson.

I too have seen many give the fight to Khan. I haven't seen any 115-110 though. At least I haven't seen any of those scorecards from posters whom I thought were serious. The point of this thread was to say that that particular scorecard was ridiculous. I'm definite that it was. Your 114-111 was on the outer edges of an acceptable card. I would be just as critical of a 115-110 card to Peterson.

 

u jokin' right? the other 2 judges had it a draw. point deductions by ref gave peterson the fight:deal

It's a bad scorecard. It's weird how I thought Buffer said 114-111. I'm not the only one it seems either.

 

That judge filled out his scorecard at the beggining and not the end of rounds. It happens all the time in boxing.

 

Khuntards still bereaved that their spoilt little ******* of a fighter supposedly got robbed.

Fact, it was a close fight and the decision could have been given to either fighter.

Fact, 115-110 in favour of Khan is unbelievable especially after 2 point deduction is accounted for.

I don't usually put too much emphasis on the compubox figures unless a fight is close and then it is interesting to see if they provide a better insight. Basically for me the figures back up what I witnessed during the fight. Khan landing a paltry 12 shots more via being the busier fighter, jabbing and with less accuracy. Lamont landing more power shots with a higher success rate due to his accuracy on all fronts..

Either way it was a close one and I certainly wouldn't be crying robbery whoever got the decision. I just happen to prefer to kind of controlled work that lamont was doing and regardless of the outcome he really had Amir out of his comfort zone and was bullying him into being far too negative in the eyes of many.
