Confirmed: Cotto Is In Las Vegas; Meeting With Mayweather Next?

    There has been rumor/speculation/reporting the last few days that Miguel Cotto may meet with Floyd Mayweather, Jr.'s team in Las Vegas (where Mayweather lives) to discuss a possible May 2012 bout. Here are some links on the subject:

    Now, it has been confirmed that Cotto is in Las Vegas as of Monday, December 12, 2011:

    So, has Cotto already met with Team Mayweather? Or is a meeting to come shortly? Will we see Mayweather-Cotto in May 2012?

    I really hate Mayweather for ducking fighters back then never been a fan of his, but he would destroy Pacman.

    You have to be joking right? Styles make fights and Manny would "son" Floyd sometime in the 2nd round! That shoulder roll wont work against the Pac Man's Fury! :nono No doubt in my mind that Pac would KO Void.. Its just a matter of what round would the brutal KO occur.. :think

    Still, though, as I said before: You are likely to only hear about a Cotto-Mayweather meeting if the fight comes off. If not, no reason to say the sides met.

    That's how these things often work.

    The problem with you and threads like this is that you never admit when you're wrong, which turns out to be the case many times.
