He's on a good tear, but a world title is probably too far out of reach.

heard the sparring between him and Choi was brutal.

Simpson and Smith are both higher level domestic fighters. would like to see him go for the european. get it on clevs next fight

Its quite clear nobody can challenge him at domestic. What was potentially a decent merry-go-round in Smith Simspson Lindsay has now been brushed aside after Selby clinically stopped Smith and Simpson.

Get him to Euro level as soon as I say.

Buncey made a good point last night about money.

He's probably earned coppers so far.

Will Smith be ready for February in Cardiff?

Get that as chief support. He earns some cash, hopefully win the lonsdale outright (is that right? he won title and would have defended it twice) and fought on a big bill.

    Then move onto European.

Can't see a dwonside to that. The kids only been past 6 rounds once and never past 8. No rush.

Agree on there not being a rush, mate. That was only like his 12th fight and he could do with learning his trade a little more before going up to Euro level - the only problem is that there's not much depth to the British featherweight division and there's not really any serious challengers after Simpson & Smith.

EDIT: What's this Miskirtchian character like, I can't remember seeing him box but looking at his record he's been beaten by Truscott - I must have watched that? :huh

Choi would destroy Selby in under 6 rounds

  9. Is there are Euro level at 126 though?

Would he just be fighting domestic level fighters from France or Spain?

Agree mate, that's what I'm after - him to stay at British level for a while. I didn't mean to disrespect any of the other fighters in the division.

Selby has a future as a SkySports pundit to consider too ...

  15. Nor me

Kiko Martinez might be the only guy I can think of in and around those weights, and the guy McDonnell beat, but he's probably a bit small.

I think the term ''Euro level'' is a bit misleading these days, because it's not an essential path you have to tread. Not many Euros are actually any better than the domestic contenders that you are apparently ''moving on from''.

That's especially true in the lower weights, higher up there probably is a European level.
