Unfortunately it's a common practice for charity events of various types to pay performers appearance money. Often there's a big difference between the turnover and the profit that's actually delivered to the charity.

Barry Hall on SEN radio today said basically said this.

He was asked about fighting someone like Sonny Bill.

He said he is taken the sport serious and wants only to fight real Fighters ones that box.

Then he said if he was to fight Sonny Bill even today without any Pro fights Barry said he would whoop him.

He is a fan of fighting and has only been really training a week now but he wants serious fights and will be taking it Serious there will be No Celebrity type fights.

Now take that the fans that think its just another ****ing Sports star trying to cash in.

The difference between guys like Sonny Bill and Hoppa to Barry Hall is this.

Barry Halls father was a Boxing Trainer he grew up loving this sport. He wanted to be the next Jeff Harding or Jeff Fenech not the next Wayne Carey or Tony Lockett.

Now to think he might not take this serious well I know better because ive seen alot of Interviews with Barry and people around him.

He loves this sport like we do or he grew up more like Anthony Mundine did watching his father and the sport of Boxing compared to Sonny Bill and watching and breathing Rugby Union.

Id start to take him serious but one thing he said he and Danny Green agreed he needed to work on was his Punching Power.

Now i have seen what he did to Staker with this little Left that he hardly threw but it Knocked him the **** out.
