In all honesty, pushing doesn't really effect the fight, it won't stop a fighter coming inside and all it does is burn off your energy

Thats why it didn't bother Peterson

Fact is, Khan needs to learn how to fight on the inside, there's not much else to say here

I agree - that's more or less where I stand.

If the fight would have ended and Amir would have just had a little whinge no one would have battered an eyelid, and I'd now be talking about how both fighters put on a great fight, discussing the pros and cons of their performances and what they need to do to win next time.

Instead we're just fed a load of bull**** from Khan, his team and supporters which puts everyone's backs up, and we end up in arguments like this which completely over what was a great fight.

I would rather see Khan take it on the fookin' chin and come back 10x better.

Now he's going to have the mindset that he was jobbed, and that's not going to help him.

Indeed, I was hoping Khan would learn from this as he did the Prescott fight, instead he's took the "I want to make myself look a twat to the few fans I have left" route.

**** off, he was robbed. you're biased, so your opinion doesn't count.

Were it not for the point deductions, he would have won, so he doesn't need to learn anything, or become 10x better. He's that good already.

Yep that's my line of thought he's talking as if he boxed really well..

BTW i noticed many haven't picked up on the Puerto Rican Judge who scored the fight to Khan by 5 points and that's with the point deductions. That's ludicrous.

Just add this to the list of Amir Khan quotables, then ignore.

In the ring he can be a decent fighter, out of the ring he's just a prat.

I love the way Team Khan think that they were the saviours of boxing in DC! It cracks me up.

If everyone in Team Khan disappeared off the face off the earth tomorrow and that includes Khan, boxing would still be fine, I assure you.

There were two bills in DC in November and Seth Mitchell headlined a bill in the same arena that Khan fought in back in 2009. Not to mention Tyson v McBride as well. So I am not sure where there are getting all this "theres been no fights in DC for ago 20 years" malarkey.

Maybe Khan should turn down having any English officials at any of his matches in future as well.
