You do realize that Ward and Dirrell are American, were undefeated and also had promise and skill, they had fans before the tournament and i myself was going with Ward to win the whole thing... I didn't go with Taylor because I knew he was on the slide and had stamina issues, I didn't pick Abraham because i was never a fan, he was moving up and his best win was against Miranda, never liked his style... Didn't go with Froch because although he could punch he barely escaped Jermaine and had Taylor finished the fight he would have won so I felt Carl would eventually be outboxed and again I wasn't a fan... I didn't pick Kessler to win because i didn't want him to win although I felt he was the biggest threat to go to the finals and he could have had he stuck around, but i would have still been going with the other man who is in the finals, Ward... So how can you question someone's pick because your pick is probably out the tournament... Also I didn't pick Dirrell because i wasn't really impressed with the couple fight I saw of his before S6, I always thought he lacked heart and will, kind of reminds me of Cintron, I wasn't a fan of AD...
I urge Froch fans to resist the urge to come up with excuses.We all know that Froch will need to take 8 or 9 rounds CLEARLY to have a hope of getting a decision.Ward needs to shade 6 to be safe. This is just a fact of life that most of us accept.Cold,hard reality. No excuses.
I was not on this site until I made this account even though that meth head Lance claims I am some guy name blitz or some ****. But I picked Ward. I really thought it was his time. And he had those most skills. I will take skills over experience any day of the week. Especially if they have a solid Amateur background which he did.
yeah I dont understand how people didnt see this **** coming. I didnt question Dirrells heart I just thought Ward was a better fighter. But the Froch thing is on point

Ward might win. That isn't what I was saying. I was countering your and a few other posters who are saying they tipped Ward from the start. The poll taken before the tournament showed that hardly anyone picked Ward to win. Froch beat Dirrell. Not one ringside journalist had Dirrell winning, including the respected Ring Magazine and Boxing News. There wasn't any suggestion by anyone that Dirrell should have won until THE DAY AFTER the fight when Dirrell's promoters decided on the 'we was robbed' angle. If Dirrell's people thought he was winning the fight, why were they going crazy at Dirrell in between rounds by shouting at him that 'you must do more'? That night Dirrell gave the most cowardly and gutless 'performance' I have ever seen in a world title fight. He should have been DQ'd
