Froch vs Ward: Super Six Final Build Up Thread

I'd like to know myself but i was hoping he'd deny it but he didn't so i presume he has said something. I'll have a look about and post if i find anything.

 

I respect the **** out of Froch but Ward has me in awe at times.

Isn't it just the Andre "SOB" Ward stuff? The only other thing I've heard is Carl calling Ward arrogant for using the "Son of God" moniker. Otherwise nothing really stands out to me.

Does seem like it bothered Ward quite a bit though.

 

Wickio i think your right i've spent last 10 mins searching for quotes and that's all i;ve found and also saw a comment on a youtube page saying that's all Froch said. Completely agree. Far as I'm aware there hasn't been any digs at his faith like Andre seems to be talking about, it's just Carl being Carl. Can't see why it would rattle him though. Like you said, maybe a soft mentality.

 

Just realised that I've been the most active poster on this thread, looking back I can't even remember making half of these posts. Must have something to do with the postponement I suppose and how long this has been running for.

Still and all I still think it'll go the same way as I've done from the start, though I do think Froch will have more success than my earlier posts appear to insinuate.

I'm more of a Ward fan, though while never really being an out and out supporter of Carl I'm an admirer of Froch. I think we'd all like to see Ward-Bute and a Froch-Kessler rematch(win or lose I'd like to see Froch exact revenge) at the end of this either way. Fingers crossed.

Just watching some of the Bika fight, might post a keys to victory tomorrow. Bika enjoyed a fair bit of success in this bout IMO.

 

It's a commonly held view in the US that light skinned black guys are not tough enough, and are easier to dominate/intimidate mentally and physically. They're percieved to be 'soft'.

I think it's one of the reasons Andre feels he has to show his toughness, impose himself physically from the get go, not be bullied and get the better of the rough house tactics.

A rough encounter, no doubt. I think I had it either 118-110 or 117-111 in favour of Ward.

I was always under the impression that it was more of an East coast thing. I'm more than likely wrong though.
