Ottke uses his defence for the first 8 rounds until he gets the nod from a judge and the runs like the wind.

I'd rather have someone rip one of my toenails off than watch this.

:rofl:rofl..This thread gain infamy in it's latest incarnation...actually, I have to agree, no matter how much I dig the defensive spoilers...I guess you have to have two two tango..a fight like this would be like watching a cadaver be dissected for a patholoical examination.

Ironically enough Corro had probably his most authoritative and well-rounded performance against another light-hitting cutie...Ronnie harris.

Harris did look tentative and sluggish in front of the hostile Argentinian crowd that night though, while Corro was spurred on.

Something like this could well depend on who has the mental comfort zone of home advantage.

And though Valdez was basically shot, Corro put on a virtuouso performance...a defensive boxing clinic, in their rematch back in '78.

    I'll give it a go:

CORRO by decision. Corro actually looked like a good fighter at one time, with impressive wins over Valdez and Ronnie Harris. I also thought he was robbed against Antuofermo, even if he did "fall apart" late in the fight. By contrast, Ottke was gift-getting stinker right from the get-go.

I'd favor Corro to be more aggressive and land more of the clean, sharp punches to take a decision - provided the fight isn't in Germany, of course.

Interesting....(well it is!!!) I think Corro may have had to summon up the same Herculean effort that he managed against Ronnie "Mazel" Harris...you guys remember that one don't you?
