I'm intrigued to see Sonnens wrestling against Munoz. Chael vs Bones is a good fight because I think he would approach it exactly like he did Silva. Aggressive hands that lead to immediate takedown attempts. Stand with him at no cost.
Sonnen isn't the best wrestler in MMA. Jones handled Rampage, Bader and Hamill with ease. Jones would handle Sonnen as well. Not as easily, but he'd still outgrapple him. Too big, too explosive.
Bull**** that Sonnen isn't the best wrestler in MMA.. Alot of people more versed in the sport than you agree, if Sonnen wants you down, you're going down.
Jones got man handled by Rashad Evans everyday in training!! Thats not just coming from him either...
Its actually a very fair point Lets say Sonnen beats Munoz then Silva , given the way he's despatched other top fighters @185 (Maia aside ofcourse) lately , the guy automatically assmues Sliva's dominance , completely different style and application ofcourse but never the less still dominant :deal Given the time frame this would take , it would also mean another 1 or 2 fights for Jones , well by my calculation he only needs one more fight to clean out the division , and thats Evans / Davis winner , but lets think like the UFC matchmaking staff , there going to filter Dan Henderson into there plans somewhere , thats providing Henderson survives that long without losing , which i doubt but given the match making you can never tell A couple of big if's there , but not alltogether impossible that Jones and Sonnen are staring through the window at each other by this time next year as dominant champions
Thats when Jones was a novice pro , he's not anymore , and another rumour about Evans , everytime him and GSP wrestled , GSP owned him :deal
Me too On paper he's the better wrestler (Munoz) , the difference being he hasnt refined his style as well as Sonnen for MMA , and that really is the big difference , fact is , when these 2 lock up , i dont see Munoz being dumped on his back , and thats interesting :deal

Beekeeper you really do talk **** !!!!! Sonnen dropped him twice on the feet and didnt stop working the top position with strikes for the whole fight , hense he got sloppy / over confident and got submitted

It depends, I imagine that Jones would constantly be either a) throwing elbows and working off his back or b) Trying to wall walk his way up. It would depend on how well Chael secured position and how much he smothered Jones.
Yeah dude. Have you ever seen what the guy with twig legs does to high-level wrestlers in his own weight class? It's sad to see people mark out to favorable match-making. Sonnen's last couple of fights against guys with suspect takedown defense have people thinking that he can shoot a double on anybody in MMA even guys in higher weight classes. Here's a newsflash: Sonnen used too fight at 205. It didn't go to well for him, which is why he's been at MW for years. Sonnen vs. Jones is total mismatch in Jones' favor. Anybody who thinks otherwise knows jack **** about MMA.
