Nope I wouldn't have accepted the belt unless I felt I deserved it and was willing to prove it in the ring. Being a paper champ is a joke, n if ur not willing to prove u deserve a belt that's handed to u then that makes u a bigger joke.

What leverage will Chavez Jr have without a title at MW? Cotto won't fight him because there is no title involved. The main reason Cotto/Chavez Jr was mentioned was because of another weight division title that Cotto could have. Without it there is nothing, which is good! Cotto/Chavez Jr wasn't a good fight to beging with.

I wasnt even thinking about Floyd to be honest since Manny and Floyd are not going to fight him. I was thinking about a guy like Cotto or Chavez jr two fights Sergio would also like.

    Martinez Baby Chavez ain't happening.

No way does Lonesome Bob let his new cash cow get exposed by Maravilla. If the WBC enforces the Martinez mandatory [and I don't really think they will] Chavez will vacate and fight for another title belt @ 160. Problem solved.

I'd rather see Martinez fight Floyd, nothing particular exciting about this fight

what bothers me is that TR is saying Rubio is pricing himself out? That just doesn't make any sense. If Junior avoids Rubio to fight smaller Vanes, that's more bull****, albeit Vanes does bring some intrigue. I'd still like to see Andy Lee reconsidered.

I'm not sure if DiBella and Sergio would accept any step aside money UNLESS Arum made a negotition for Sergio to have a future bout with Cotto or Pacman at 154 in 2013 and feed Sergio Margarito late 2012 at 154. It would be a perfect safe fight for Sergios return to 154.
