Could they have possibly put the start time in any more confusing terms?

    "19:00 HRS (PDT)? WTF?? :blood"

For anyone who may not know, that's incorrectly expressed 'military time' (usually given as 1900 or 'nineteen hundred hours', which is to say nineteen hours after midnight...or put a bit more intuitively, seven hours after 12 noon...). PDT is a rarely used acronym for "Pacific Daylight Time", whereas most often you just see it given as 'Pacific' (although it's more conventional to see times given in the Eastern American time zone, EST).

    So 10pm EST.

    On www.WBCBoxing.TV

It may just be Rubio vs. Vanda over 12 rounds for the WBC Latino middleweight title that actually gets shown, with no undercard. These WBC broadcasts can be kind of haphazard and very loosely organized. Sometimes they jump from one venue to another showing live coverage of different cards on the same night. (different cards that happen to have all sorts of minor WBC titles at stake...bunch of fee-grubbing vultures :yep). This may be different because it's part of the week-long "WBC Convention", so maybe they'll just stick to the one site and maybe show some undercard with commentary the whole time. :conf We shall see.

Javier Fortuna vs. Miguel Roman would be cool to see. Hopefully we do get to.

A lot of money (by Rubio standards) at stake here for the Mexican.

They showed Lemieux-Alcine last weekend along with 4-5 undercard bouts. I think we will get the undercard. I wanna see Fortuna-Roman. I like Fortuna, Very hopefully prospect, Glad to see him in his first test With Mickey Roman

    Mickey can spoil a party.

He's upset a few prospects, and dragged a few more through nine circles of hell (including both of the second-generation Beltran boys, and his old hometown rival Antonio Escalante who he had beaten up in a "real" fight before they each took to the prize ring)

I said he gave him hell in their professional boxing bout even in losing, same as with Fernando Beltran Jr. and Miguel Beltran Jr. :good

He did beat him once, though - in a fistfight in their neighborhood before they were boxers.

Rubio didn't make weight and had to pay a fee. If the minor title was vacant, Rubio can't win it. If Rubio was the minor titlist, I don't know if he was stripped or not.

hoping MAR comes out with the W in perfect health so Chavez doesn't have an easy out. I imagine it's going the distance though, Vanda got a great beard.

    Oh ok. :good

I think Javier Fortuna wins TKO 9. He is too powerful. :toney
And Rubio UD 12. Vanda has a good chin. MAYBE late Ref stoppage.

If he's stripped, does that take the big money off the table?

:think Does Vanda have a good chance against a chunky unmotivated Veneno?
