Im beginning to think so. And to be honest i cant see it happening.

I have no faith in any boxer getting a fair result these days, this isnt a dig on America its happening every where, ive seen some shocking and quite embarrasing results being dished out right here in the UK and its no different in Germany, Italy and Canada.

So with that in mind Froch is already at a disadvantage. But saying that if your looking to win rounds through Boxing abilities I think Ward has the better style anyway while Froch is more of a stalker who is pretty readable and never looks comftable against a decent slickish boxer.

So that leaves him needing a KO in my book. Im not saying its impossible but i cant see him landing too much and though i admit hes got power in his hands its not what id call single KO power, he needs to grind Ward down like he did with Dirrell.

But i bet Ward has watched that Dirrell fight a few times cuz early doors Andre was schooling Froch and i put that defeat down to bad decisions and poor heart more than Froch knocking it up another level.

I hope im wrong, im really looking forward to this fight, it could be a classic, an ugly brutal classic but my gut feeling is Ward is too smart to get caught in a war and we are all guna sit and watch Frochs chances slipping away from him round by round. And with boxing being how it is he is not guna win many close rounds.

I think hes definatly guna need a KO.

Will Froch get a fair treatment from the ref or judges? No.

Will Andre Ward fight extremely dirty and get away with it? Yes

:deal this - Froch needs to stop Ward to win, he is not getting a close decison.

As it is, I feel Ward will win a fair UD anyways which is a pity cause Froch would fight Bute next and Ward will never agree terms wtih Bute.

I cannot see Froch getting the nod.If i had to highlight one fault in Frochs boxing,it would be his refusal to listen to McCracken.Against Kessler Froch was clearly the stronger fighter, but instead of following up after he landed punches,Froch would stand back and admire his work.He allowed Kessler to outwork him,and this is what won Kessler the fight.I'm pretty sure Froch at times see's a different version of events,McCracken kept telling Froch that Kessler was stealing rounds, but Froch continued to land 3 or 4 big shots then step back.
With this in mind,it will be interesting to see what tactics Froch employs,is all the talk of stopping Ward just a smoke screen, and does he plan on trying to outwork Ward ?
Will he try to keep the fight at long range, and try to utilise the jab ?
Or maybe he is gambling on letting Ward lunge in as usual, and hope to let him lunge onto a big uppercut.
McCracken is a brilliant strategist, but lets hope that Froch listens,as i'm sure they've done there homework on Wards strengths, and have a plan to nullify this.

Yep gotta agree, and he can fight smarter, he showed it against AA. Or was it a case of AA was that basic Froch found he could box like that.

But ive always said i think he sees his performances differntly to pretty much everybody else and that always worried me cuz it gave me the impression he didnt think he needed to improve on things that everybody else did think he needed to work on.

No, man. I get why people are so skeptical about this fight when it comes to judging, but Froch will get a fair shake in this fight.

nah, the ref will do what joe cortez did to hatton v mayweather...allow zero grabbing and in-fighting, then in his next fight with a brit and an american (calzaghe v hopkins) allow all the grabbing and in-fighting in the world as it suited the american. fact is, everyone is biased to their home fighters, no different for refs and judges, thats why these should have all been south africans or somewhere else neutral but english-speaking

He needs a KO to win because ward gonna outbox him anyway. Forget about the biased judges, the rounds will be easy to score.

I just can't see how Froch is going to get close enough to launch an attack. He Plods forward and has pretty poor handspeed.

Ward is going to pick his shots and dominate most of the rounds.

Froch IMO can only win via TKO or KO, but I just don't think its likely.

yeah saw some vid the other day saying the best way to bet for this fight is to do a straddle bet with Ward winning on points, Ward KO and Froch KO since you can get really good KO odds and the likelihood of Froch winning on points is minimal.

This.....Ward knows his lunging in to butt would lead him right into a Bute uppercut and the ICU. Bute has advantage over Ward in all catagories, whereas Froch has the slight edge in power and chin and jab and would make for a more entertaining fight.:deal

He can only win by stoppage imo. Nothing to do with Judges in my eyes. Just the fact of how good Warde is.
