I think he loses in every department. He starts too slowly and he will be outboxed. He is too sluggish for someone as sharp as ward. I also see him being beat on the inside. Cant see how he wins this. Hope he can pull out that one big shot!

    i hope im wrong.

But if Carl does manage to win ...i wouldnt be suprised if it would be a come from behind edge of your seats drama like the jermaine taylor/ chavez-meldrick taylor fights type win!

I can see Froch winning and winning well. I think he will grind him down and do it quickly, the difference in raw strength will be clear to see.

I think people have to remember Ward came into the super six as an underdog, he wasn't really expected to do that much and the pressure has been off him to a certain extent but it is not anymore and pressure can do strange things to people. this is the biggest fight in Ward's career by a long way and he is at home in the US so there is also expectation and I think it will be mentally draining. I think if Froch can hurt him or unsettle him early then Ward will really struggle.

    Froch by stoppage between 7-9...

i think Froch wil start fast and try to put it on Ward early and attack the body, Froch will b stupid to head hunt.
i think it will be ugly at times

I know where you're coming from. Froch needs to find a way of landing a few big shots. Easier said than done. But I think he will. Only trouble with that is I think Warde will take them. Warde could be undefeated for a long long time imo.

I can only see a froch win if he comes out all guns blazing. But he wont, he always strats too slowly. Ward will be 6 rounds up before carl gets going. Froch needs to test wards heart by rushing him nonstop, any other way he will lose easy.

He is also underestimating wards inside game. I would love to see froch go out on his shield not give ward a moments peace because if he does that then he will have some sort of chance. Froch when taking people to war is a tough ask for anyone, but i think it will be too late!

Technically, Froch is horrible and Ward pretty good. I'm going to spend 12 rounds really hoping Carl can put the pressure on him, never say die attitude and one of those shots land on Wards noggins. If we can get a repeat of what happened early in Wards career then it will be a great night for British boxing.

I agree that everyone seems to think that if this fight is fought on the inside, Froch wins. Woodhall was saying it on Sky and its not true. Froch on the inside has some moves but alot of it has to do with chin, power, strength and stamina rather than skills. Ward ****s you up on the inside out skill.

Froch shouldn't fight Ward on the inside. If he tries to work the body he should be careful, he carries his hands low and loose, committing to the body would leave him very open up top.

I haven't seen superb head movement from Ward, he's not as much of an athlete as as his namesake Dirrell, so I think Froch should fully commit to his jab. He did it against Abraham, it was a ramrod. His jab comes out of nowhere too so it's hard to see coming.

I agree with what some people are saying here though. If after 7 or 8 rounds he is behind and boxing isn't working for him, he's just got to trust his chin and go after Ward. I honestly can't see Ward hurting Froch.
