    I dont care nothing about olympic basketball, it does not relate to this issue. What i do know is that Froch is only saying that Ward cant knock him out, not that he cant beat his ass. The only thing Ward is saying is that hes gonna beat his ass and I gotta take the man at his word cause he hasnt lied yet, plus all the evidence points to that conclusion.:bbb

    i dont know what people are complaining about.
    steve smoger is a top referee. he ref'ed the cotto-margarito fight the other week, and never got involved. he lets them fight, on the outside and inside, without pulling them up every ten seconds.
    the judges, british, usa, canada, whats wrong with that? what do you want, thailand, puerto rico and venezuela instead?

    I would veto a Puerto Rico Judge if I was Froch, that place is owned by the Yanks.

    plus the ref was fair in the Khan fight too

    'I would have loved to see all you americans threads if the final was boxed in england,with a english referee.and one english judge,and one from the usa, and one canadian...YOU would all have called it Disgusting things,answer please,and honest!!??

    neither are american, ones from PR the other is an American born Mexican, he has no vested interest, showtime and US boxing does have vested interest in an american winner

    Folks, please send Tissues to Buckingham Palace. The UK will be facing a great tissue shortage in the coming hours and every box goes towards drying the eyes of a fat middle aged man jamming fish and chips into his gullet. Every box will be handed out by the Royal family during a public goodwill tour.

    The unbeatable kell brook fights later, he cant be beat, could be worse, could be an american and have german hamburgers stuffed in our faces by a muslim president who doesnt do christmas? ....even though he claims to be christian

    I'm not even sure that Froch will win even if he knocks Ward out. I would not be surprised to see an ending similar to the Abraham Dirrell fight.

    It will be interesting to see how Froch deals with the Ward's butts, his hands down fighting style surely leaves him wide open to them. His stated intention to use elbows, to guard against Wards head, will surely make it easy for the American ref to disqualify him.

    Yeah I agree. It's not as if judges outside of the US and UK are in short supply. There's enough Canadian, German, French refs to choose from.

    It's quite common to have 2 out of 4 officials from the country where the fight is presented. Maybe 2 judges could have been from England but it's better than in Vegas, where all 4 officials are from the casino city. Has Froch team complained about that?
