I'm totally undecided on who I think will win the fight but I just wanna know ONLY from those who KNOW boxing. So that excludes Lazarus and fanboy dorks of that sort...

What are the chances really of Ward KO or stopping Froch? And if you think it possible when in the fight would you expect that?

The fact that it's the final and that Froch has declared that Ward can't KO him, by sods law I could see it happening even tho I hope not?

    Can ward KO him?

    Theoretically yes

But realistically no, unless its a injury-kind of tko (most likely caused from several headbutts overlooked by the ref:roll:)

A ko of Froch has crossed my mind. The only way its happening is if Ward destroys him with an accumulation of punches. An unlikely event but not impossible.

I can't see Ward stopping Froch unless its by Cuts/corner stoppage. Froch stopping Ward is more likely as that is realistically the only way Froch wins.

Froch can be KOed but not by Ward. I could see a prime RJJ or Nigel Benn stopping Froch but know of the current SMW.

It's possible but unlikely. Froch has been hurt/dropped by Dirrell, Kessler and Taylor (maybe others?) so it's possible, but I think those guys hit significantly harder than Ward.

Kessler really hurt Froch to the body though, so maybe an accumulation of liver shots could stop him?

Enough clean shots and most guys can be taken out.

I think its entirely possible. Ward is still improving and entering his peak. Froch is what he is, a tough durable guy, been in his share of wars. You just don't know how Froch shows up tonight, and if Ward has a "put it all together" kind of a night I do think he could wear down Froch and stop him later. But more likely this fight goes to the cards in a fight Froch is in all the way, but not doing quite enough to get the rounds he needs. 8-4 type of score for Ward wouldn't surprise me a bit.

Any fighter can get KO'd if hit with the right punch at the right time. Remember when Paul Williams was known as having one of the best chins in boxing? But I doubt it'll happen in this fight, because Ward is going to be fighting a cautious fight. When a fighter goes for a KO it also leaves him open to be hit. Ward knows he can win this with relative ease on the cards. That's enough for him.
