yes, and it is not a dig at America, but if Froch "wins" on points it is going to be tight and as the away fighter he wont get it.

"Sinking feeling," IB? You think it might be a stinker? This is Andre Ward we're talking about. Very effective, well-rounded, boring fighter. Carl's fun to watch, but it's not like Ward's going to let him do what he wants in there.

However, I'm voting Froch by stoppage. There's no money on this! It's possible. I can dream...

:verysad Actually, I voted with my head and picked Ward on points. I didn't want to compromise the accuracy of your poll.

Well I got my ticket and I will be there when the doors open for the whole event

I am excited to see Miranda one of my favorite guys though his career has never been the same since Pavlik

I must say the HWT match between Holmes and Tupou has me very interested I dont know why but I followed Holmes on boxrec for most of his career and his nickname is Real touch of Sleep and I wanted to see if he would ever fight Devarryl

Any way back to the main topic of discussion, I am rooting for Froch but I dont know if he is gonna win

Ward- he was a bit of a dark horse in the tournament he was untested for the most part except for a fight vs Miranda. He came in and beat the guy I had winning it all. I was shocked but then again I thought to myself how much did Kessler know about Ward, how much tape of Ward did he really have, there was no real blue print to Ward

then Ward since has fought guys like Allan Green and Bika who are tough but are a step back from Kessler, then Ward fought Abraham and probably had a tougher time than Froch did

Froch is a very experienced champion, for one thing he has faced some tough opposition, second he lost his 0 therefore I think if the fights on the line he will more likely be able to gut it out, vs Dirrel he over came a guy who was faster and mobile, vs Taylor he got out boxed and came back, Froch has heart and determination

He is also a much better boxer than people give him credit for he can keep his hands at his waist and out box a guy like Dirrel now that says something

I think Ward is just too precise with his shots and just so tough to hit, Dirrel had mental lapses or not the discipline for a 12 round fight the rounds Dirrel won he won when he settled and put something on his shots

Now Ward does not hit as hard but he can settle down and land, Froch will make a real fight out of it but I think Ward takes it

maybe 8-4 or 7-5 but every round is fought and contested

Why do you keep saying that?

You can't gamble on heart. You'll end up broke ass. It's just more likely that Ward wins. If it's close, he will get the decision. He's got more facets to his ugly style. There is no questioning his mental resolve or conditioning. The only thing that could be questioned is his chin, but a puncher's chance is just that.
