Khan doesnt resonate with the british public or masses. He doesnt exude that britishness in culture etc and seems distant from the white english. You look at henry cooper etc and how he was our 'enry or even Frank Bruno and therez something the british public feel is one of theirs. Hatton also fits the mould.

Khan doesnt go down the pub and get smashed with the lads or eats bacon butties or does many other things we liken to english culture.

A lot of things Khan says or how he behaves have been said and done by countless others but Khan receives much more criticism for it.


Being a muslim and ****stani doesnt help either.

Its like a Saudi Arabian athlete whos a jew and his ancestry is from Israel. He will likely not be looked upon as highly as a pure saudi athlete

Its human nature and people need to accept it. These supposed reasons they hate Khan are just petty excuses at rationalising their hatred. Sure Khan should be critiqued for such reasons but does it warrant that level of scrutiny?

The british wont back KHan because whatever Khan does acheive, they will never feel their man or one of their own acheived it or it is something they should be proud of.

I personally couldnt care less about Nationalism. Boxing is not a team game and doesnt really have that nationalism to it like football where a team is identified as England or spain. It is an individual sport and If I like the individual, I support him. Im from england but I hate froch. Hid fighting style, his personality etc... I want ward to win as he seems much more humble

the ref jumps in and stops the fights way too early and on a regular basis for the home fighter


Remeber Khan and Limmon khan is down on a knee the ref counts he gets up and then goes back down and the ref acts like nothign happens
