I think Floyd was on his way to a KO Loss in the Ortiz fight!

    1. The referee called on the action. Floyd gave no indication that he wanted or needed a hug.

    2. Yep, and when you throw intentional headbutts, get ready to fight.

    3. He absolutely was. If Floyd gets severely cut by the billygoat special, the fight could be halted - whether in that round or later when it gets worse.

    4. So they both got rough and Ortiz got knocked out at the end of the sequence. That's boxing.

    5. Floyd did not embrace the hug. He had his hands on guard to fight. When the action was called in, he gave Ortiz a two-piece and ended the fight on the spot.

Sucker punching a guy to end a fight isn't boxing. This isn't some thug in the street hitting his opponent when he knows isn't expecting it, much less in the middle of an apology. It was disgusting. Why do you think the whole place blew up in boo's when they showed the replay on the big screen? Even 50 cent wasn't smiling when he congratulated Floyd. You can tell by his expression he was like " of fuk, look what you did now"

Nobody wanted the fight to end that way but it wasn't Floyd's fault. 3 apologies ended up being 1 too many.

Everybody wanted the fight to go on. HAD Victor gotten up from the 2 piece Combo, nobody would have been sittin' down. It was a good fight.

Victor quit on the floor. :deal

    1. Can't blame Floyd for Ortiz getting dropped and out for the count by a two-piece.

    2. No, it's a boxing match where you need to protect yourself at all times, especially when the referee has indicated that the fight is on.

    3. Yawn. He apologized numerous times. Floyd is under no obligation to hug and kiss someone who is trying to take the fight from him through illegal means.

    4. Floyd has always embraced the role of villain.

    5. You're such an astute face reader. Did you read Floyd's face when Ortiz went to hug him for the last time? It said, "**** you." Too bad Ortiz can't read faces.

Exactly. People blame Floyd for the fact that Ortiz got knocked out on those shots. If he had gotten back up and survived, it would have been a footnote in a world class beating.
