I was just thinking. Imagine how embarrassing and ego crushing it'll be for Froch if he get's stopped after all the "Ward can't stop me" shizzle.

 

Forgive me for not being sold on Ward after Miranda and Pudwill ;-)

It was just the little things he was doing that had me sold. He was behaving like a fighter. I use to call the way he fought loose change.

That would depend on the manner of the stoppage I think, if he was stopped on a cut or something then there's no shame in that. If Ward sparks him, despite not being recognised as a puncher, then yes I think that would be damaging but it's unlikely.

 

Or we can just ignore the existence of Diamanté............

Anyways, Ward supporter since his Olympic exploits here. Though to be fair I picked him to get to the final through bias for the most part rather than any kind of special foresight.

 

Great analysis from Watt - very fair assessment. Intangibles will be the only thing that might be in Carl's favour. Ward's just so well-rounded that there are very few tactics Froch will have consistent success with.

 

Right, here's my pick before I go: Ward via genuine stoppage in 9 rounds.

 

Actually, I'm still not sold on Ward. I recognise his overall ability, but I can't get past how lacklustre he's looked outside of the Kessler fight.
And I think he's chinny.

 

I like Khan but I hope he doesn't spend his whole night moaning.
