I think so, fought against bigger guys and has heavier hands IMO. Point to Green fight as comparison.

That's a well-edited video. About 75% of those clips were cut short because Ward went on to work with his free hand. It was a nice attempt by the guy though.

 

I'm calling it right now.

This is going to be some dirty arse fight. Headbutts/fouls, the lot. Either end up becoming a TD 'cos of cuts or mass points being taken off for low blows.

 

Green was overpowered physically in both fights, the only difference was that he was able to manuver away from Johnson, which he couldn't do against Ward, who kept him pinned down for as long as he pleased.

 

I'm gonna have to mute it if I have to listen to khan moan one more time. Lazurus I know your a massive khan fan but unless your gay I can't see why you'd be excited about him being in the studio.

Had a dream carl wins in the 3rd round, not going to happen though.

 

The whole thing with Ward that makes him special is his deceptive strength to go along with his slippery style and speed. If he fought Pascal he would totally dominate him up close.

I'm not buying it, Johnson has also hung with much bigger fighters, he, and Pascal are stronger than Andre Ward, as is Carl Froch, imo.

 

obviously i want carl to win, but anyway,
i really hope we have a good fight, that makes headlines for all the right reasons.
instead of another black eye for boxing, and controversy over headbuts, the referee, or the scoring of the judges.
