Doctors without borders needs to go to the UK and start working on cases of severe butthurt. First patient is Khan, but after that they have a wide array of mofos.

Calzaghe may have waited a bit too long (he fought Lacy when he was 33-34) to leave Wales and fight real high profile fights. The Lacy win was a great win at the time, so was Kessler and Hopkins. However when Calzaghe was around Ward age he fought an aging Eubank , Thornberry, Reid etc compared Ward who has already fought the likes of Kessler, Froch, Abraham etc not to mention having 2 belts and a trophy. Ward is not even 30 yet which is impressive.

Ward beat Froch, Abraham and Kessler. The euro trifecta. These guys were the top of the 168 division and a guy beat them all in dominate fashion in 25 fights. If you ask me Ward deserves his due. He had no easy trip to the top. His resume is bitchin.. lmao

Why didn't ward have to leave the US during this super six?
I think he is the only fighter to have all his fights in US

    trust me braaaav.

by the end of his career, ward will probably surpass calzaghe in terms of a h2h match up wise.

at this point i dont really see how anyone could say ward would beat calzaghe.
he hasnt fought anyone with calzaghes style. his speed and his punch output.

Whereas calzaghe has fought a multitude of different opponents.
hes far more proven than andre ward.

but then ward has only had 25 fights. WAY WAY too premature to say with any confidence that ward beats calzaghe. based on what?

what's joe now, 39? he could still fight ward. on these boards joe gets credit for an all-time great win over a 43 yr old. if there was any question about joe coming back, it's has surely ended now. ward would dominate.

Mad props to Ward, let him have his due, this tournament was a rough 2+ years for these guys.

With that being said, Calzaghe is a nightmare matchup for almost anyone.
