    Explain how he was boring?

Beat him on the inside. Looked to land heavy blows / knock him out. Gassed in the last round.

    Explain yourself, pleb.

Ward outclassed Froch. I wanted Froch to win but knew he was up against it from the start, Ward is head and shoulders above this division and LHW too.

    pleb...cheers internet hardman

    my opinion

ward is very good but has a style like hopkins that will be regarded as boring

he lacks the big punch , i just cant see him being a major star

Yes cos Hopkins never entered the mainstream.. He's only one of the highest paid stars in modern boxing.

Hopkins is 20 x the spoiler Ward is.

Ward landed convincing punches tonight. He bullied the bully whilst competing in a major tournament.

    You have proved your plebness.

but least hops had the backstory and big mouth.

and actually knocked some good fighters out.

ward ain't stopped anyone since he moved into top 10 class.

Ward is an unbeaten (since 13), Olympic gold medallist, WBA/WBC unfied champion (beating the cream of the division i.e. no vacant titles), RING champion and Super 6 champion. All of this at a young age aswell.

I don't give a **** if he hasn't been in jail or doesn't talk **** - he is a fantastic boxer who I'll watch every time.

Those fighters Hopkins knocked out were really welters anyway (De la Hoya/Tito)

was hops a boring spoiler for the pavlik fight.

i guarantee ward would fight pavlik much the same way as tonight.

    least hops mixes it up.

    that's the distinction.

    ward is just winning fights.

if that's ok by u then so be it. :hi:

Well Floyd Mayweather Jnr isn't the most exciting boxer to watch but he is a superstar. I know Floyd has his heel thing going on outside of the ring but I would rather watch a Ward fight than a Mayweather fight tbh.

If he keeps winning he will become a star, it may take him longer to get there but the promoters will find a way, they always do.

He lands good solid punches moving away, good solid punches moving in, good solid punches up close.
I guess if seeing good solid punches landed isn't your thing then your attention might start to drift.

Boring because he aint to keen on having solid punches landed on him in return?:huh

I am a massive Froch fan and I am gutted he lost. But now I am a massive Ward fan. It was a great fight and I really do believe that Ward is going to be the No1 p4p within 3 years.

A masterpiece from Ward. He deserves to be considered the best in the division. Respect to Froch though, he never gave up and was gracious in defeat. He was just beaten by the better boxer.

I agree,he seems more than happy just to pile up points.I imagine all his fights are exactly like that one.I wish Froch had managed to catch him in the last round.
