Ward struggled with slow-mo Froch the first 4 rounds and last couple were close can you imagine Ward shutting out Britains best SMW like Calzghe did to Lacy NO I don't think so
i had Ward winning handily. don't see how he struggled with Froch. by the way Froch called out Calzaghe for years. did they fight? of course not Calzaghe had bigger fish to fry like Ashira and Manfredo.
of course Calzaghe wins all fantasy match ups i forgot sorry. He was so good he ran from Pavlik and Dawson i forgot. what a warrior
of course its a close fight, i suppose im slightly biased to calzaghe having watched all of his career but i think joe edges it.
your entitled to your opinion. Just think Ward is ahead of calzaghe at this stage of his career if you disagree your not only wrong your biased.
Hopkins was beating Calzaghe when he had Joe either on the inside or was out of range. Calzaghe was only beating Hopkins at Mid range. Ward wont let Calzaghe be at mid range and doesnt let Calzaghe get into rhythm for long enough to win the opening rounds but Calzaghe's workrate and stamina would give him the last few rounds. Ward UD, 7 - 5 to 9 - 3 Calzaghe is a mid range slugger who outworked his opponents. Ward has alot more plans and tactics IMO than Calzaghe has shown.
