:good I be rooting for Bute Likes him the most in the division outside of Kessler. However I think Ward will go undefeated trough his career.
It's funny how every so often there's that one thread that completely ruins the credibility of a poster on this forum. This is paulfv's thread of shame. Someone whip out some facepalm gifs
WTF did he do? He just hit him with a right that made ward spit his gum sheild outatschatschatsch Your score card of 119-109 is shockingly bad atschatsch
I think there is an excellent chance Ward goes unbeaten in his career, as well. Right guy at the right time. I'm not sure if that could be more Ward or more the competition level at 168 right now, but that doesn't matter to Ward or his fans, nor should it.
I guess both 115-113 judges should be ashamed as well? :huh And I guess you know scoring better than they do? Don't react emotionally. Try to see what others see, that's some free advice.
How is it shockingly bad? :huh I'm a big Froch fan, but he didn't win more than 3 rounds if you were being very generous. Frankly he didn't win a clear round all night. I gave the 12th to Froch as well, but IB's post isn't that off. Ward still landed the cleaner shots, and defensively he was still better, I gave it to Froch based on him working harder, pressing the action and forcing Ward off his gameplan a bit (Froch in ring generalmanship terms) but it wasn't a clear round at all. How did you have it then?
Was that right hand from Froch a better shot than the left hook that sent an electric jolt through Froch's body before the final bell saved him? :think
The only round Frochs aggression was even slightly effective was the 12th. You can't just give a guy a round for coming forward when he is missing everything he throws like Froch did tonight. Ward Schooled him and i'm gutted. I wanted Froch to win, picked Ward but thought Froch would put on a slightly better show and make it close. It wasn't close and he was outclassed in every area.
119-109 isn't shockingly bad, but trying to justify giving Ward the 12th is. 119-109 is on par with 116-112 as a score with a tiny bit of bias or bad scoring somewhere. 118-110 or 117-111 are what I would call accurate scoring.
99% of boxing disagrees with those judges. This is boxing, fight night judges on championship fights always have the worst scorecards. It's business.
116-112 Ward Froch did enough to win the 5,9,11,12 but i felt that Ward stole rounds by smothering Froch and clinching all the way through the fight to stop Froch from getting his work rate going. Completely Froch's fault, if he was more active and took more chances to land he could have won but he didnt. fought the completely wrong fight and paid the price.
