Martinez should bump up to 168 to fight Ward.

He was 177 lbs 23 days before the Paul Williams fight, what's he doing chasing welterweights.

martinez has no balls. hes too busy calling out welterweights to move up and challenge himself against middleweights. ive always said it should be Ward in the #3 slot for P4P instead of martinez. hopefully after this victory theyll change it

I'd love to see this fight.

Much better than possible snoozefests involving Ward v Hopkins or Dawson.

Obviously Ward v Bute is the one we NEED to see though.

Ward would demolish Sergio. Boxing wise Ward is a class above Sergio and he too big for him. Terrible mismatch.

It's easier for him to call out Welterweights, and fight Mandatorys for good money on HBO.

This allows some idiots here to favour him in fantasy fights with Hagler, Hopkins, and Monzon.

Agreed, and I think very highly of Sergio.

The only challenges out there for Ward are guys like Bute, Dawson, Hopkins, and Cloud--and I honestly believe Ward beats all of them.

    Cloud?

Cloud gets beaten by Pascal, Froch and many others IMO.

Ward will have a massive size advantage, but I just wanna see the clash of styles.

Sergio would get messed up. He needs to fight Dirrell at 164 or something

    I forgot Pascal.

The 5 "challenges" I see for Ward right now are (in this order): Hopkins, Dawson, Bute, Pascal, and Cloud.

But I favor Ward against all.

Ward would win easily against Sergio, IMHO.

I think tonight's fight has your panties all wet for Ward. Froch does not = Martinez. And if Ward's too big for Martinez, then tell me bout that Pavlik guy Martinez took the belts from.

Martinez has a slight speed advantage, he also has a 4-5" reach advantage on Ward. He'll also be the best fighter Ward has ever fought. To say Ward will demolish Martinez makes you seem like a ****** Bieber fan at a Slayer concert.

I feel Pascal's chances v Ward are highly underrated as Ward has shown how physically strong his is, therefore one of the main requirements for potentially beating him would be to be physically stronger than him, something I believe Pascal is.

Add the fact of Pascal's unpredictability, it could be a very competitive fight, however Pascal must improve his stamina before he even thinks of this fight.
