Martinez should bump up to 168 to fight Ward.

Martinez is a natural light middleweight in my opinion. Fighting Ward at 168 would be suicide.

Ward is naturally much bigger than Pavlik, but he also happens to be far better and way more talented.

You're forgetting the fact that Ward will be BOTH the biggest and most talented guy Sergio has ever faced.

Martinez is awesome, and if he fought Ward -- all the credit in the world.

But he'd be WAY out of his league.

No way. Ward would dominate him. Far too strong.

Martinez would beat AA quite comfortably.

Anyone will struggle with a guy who comes to defend himself and doesn't throw much, only selected punches.

But I agree, Ward will be too much for Sergio. I don't mind seeing the fight though.

    Ward absolutely mugs Martinez.

Walk around wieight is irrelevent. Martinez is effectively a 154 lb fighter fighting at 160.

:verysad this is almost laughable.. Martinez gets beat to sleep and his bike stolen by Ward...

Running around the ring with your hands down thowing punches from crazy angles against slow middleweights and over powering Welterweight and Junior Welters is a different playground then taking on the #1 fighter at SMW...

    :deal

Rightlly so.. Sergio gets beat to the body.. bullied and stopped..

Yeah me too.. it was a damn shame the way he ruined P WIlliams.. Sergio is legit.. he need to take on them young lions in his Division.. then end his carrer with someone like Ward for a huge payday... or Mayweather.

And he was 165 fight night.
Ward is basically like Barker only x times better. Martinez gets schooled.
