Full credit to Froch for losing with dignity

    With all the rubbish we've heard lately, well not only lately, from losing boxers, it was refreshing to hear Froch's post fight comments.

    Considering so much is made of post fight comments of an opposite nature, I think it only fair to highlight and applaud Froch's display here.

    Full credit to the guy, it couldn't have been easy losing the final of this very long drawn out event, along with his title.

    Too many guys making excuses these days

    Froch left nothing in the ring he tried as hard as he could and as much as his fans could ask of but he just didnt have it

    it happens sometimes

    I think my least favorite is guys say I have no excuses tonight but....... I hate that they say I dont have and excuse and then they have one

    or Haye taking off his shoe and showing the toe it was almost like he knew he was gonna lose and had this whole display pre planned before the first bell

    Froch held his head up high and showed true class in defeat, very classy fighter

    Absolutely.

    I was 100% expecting sour grapes but he took the loss with dignity and never stopped trying to win. Classy fighter.

    i kinda felt bad for Froch cuz i knew how bad he wanted to win. i could see the desperation in his eyes. but what can ya do. Ward hasnt lost since he was 12

    Yes I was expecting a whine fest at the post fight interview.. but he was class.. as Ward was too when talking to Froch in the post fight..

    Hats of to Froch.. He kept comming and never quit..

    Ward has always shown class and Froch has only voiced his opinion when it was close. Nothing wrong with confidence, people were thinking it was ego, but what world champion doesn't have a bit of an ego. anyway it was a classy move by both fighters...i wish we could have seen it a bit more.

    Froch us a real fighter. Love the guys attitude and if he wasnt fightign SOG tonight id be rooting for him.!

    Showing humility in defeat is natural and easy... next time try to show humility in victory. Froch gets no credit from me.

    Definitely showed class but in reality he had nothing to whine about, he was well beaten under fair circumstances, he has no reason to bait for a rematch as Ward is all wrong for him and would beat him handily again. best thing he can do is accept the defeat and move on to the next challenge.

    Not only was Froch classier than normal, post-fight, but Ward fought a cleaner fight than usual.

    Good fight. Correct result.

    He couldn't make any excuses / reasons for getting beat - because he got outclassed and completely dominated. Froch has a terrible guard by the way, completely non existent. With his reflexes, I'm surprised he has the record he has!!!!
