Think about it, who really has Sergio beat besides Paul Williams and he also has a loss to him, guess you can include pavlick, Abraham, Kessler, Froch, are all better wins than what Sergio has..

damn yall changed on Sergio like that
It wasn't too long ago when people were saying Sergio was number 1 p4p. He can't be that bad if he was fighter of the year last year.

Oh yeah, let me add that Ward should win fighter of the year this year

    Its not all about resume.

Ward is top 5 right now or maybe just outside. 2 is pushing it, infact its more than pushing it, i'd like to see a good argument supporting it.

No it would be better to explain why Sergio is better than ward, he's not skill wise and if they were to meet at somewhere around 164, I would bet my last on a Ward win...

He's not yet accomplished enough, but he's definitely moving up. I think I'd put him just under top 5 myself.

No he isn't. Hopkins is in my opinion if we are talking pure skill and ring craft.

Sergio is not better than Ward. If they fought Ward would destroy him as Martinez is really a natural light middle fighting up at middleweight. P4P it would be close.

Floyd and pac are number 1 and 2. Rank them how you like.

Its all subjective anyway lads, p4p is all about opinion.

Ward's win over Abraham is less impressive as A.A. was a beaten man at the time. Ward has two very fine wins over Kessler and Froch, but Martinez has got those great performances vs. Cintron, Pavlik and Williams (x2) which includes that spectacular KO. It also should be noted that those are all naturally bigger guys than Martinez - and beating fighters bigger than you counts for something as far as p4p. They are both now the true champions of their weightclass, but Martinez is still a smidgen more accomplished for me.
